Introduction to Chinese University of Hong Kong

Chinese University of Hong Kong is one of the most famous accounting teaching and research institutions in Hong Kong. It is the first and only accounting school in Asia accredited by both the AACSB International and The Federation of Schools of Accountancy - the two premier accrediting agencies for accounting programs in the world. For years, whether in student, teacher or teaching quality; research findings; or in graduate's achievements, the School of Accountancy at CUHK has been recognized among the top accounting schools in Asia. Program Mission

Develop world-class CFOs in China who are able to meet the challenges of the dynamic business climate.

Curriculum

This program provides courses customized to develop world-class CFOs, which expand on the latest ideas and trends of accounting and finance from a comprehensive perspective. The courses are focused on improving students' analytical ability, developing their accounting & finance potential, and expanding their understanding of accounting and finance practice and the typical cases in these fields. By completing the twelve courses of the program, students will better understand the role of accounting and finance in modern enterprises, flexibly use financial and accounting knowledge in the development and execution of corporate strategies, comprehend the latest theory and practice in this field, master analytical and operational skills in accounting and finance and be able to apply their knowledge and skills to the practice of accounting and finance in China.

Faculty

A majority of the faculty members hold PhD degrees conferred by North American Universities and all the teachers have rich experience in consulting and training in business management. In addition, a majority have engaged in teaching and developing management courses in China, conducted research and consulting concerning China's management issues and have expertise to develop China's financial elite into outstanding international talents.

Introduction to Arizona State University

Founded in 1885, Arizona State University (ASU) is an internationally recognized research and teaching institution with a long history. The W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU is a comprehensive business school with nationally and internationally ranked programs at all levels and a vibrant collaborative relationship with business worldwide. With 178 faculty members, the school offers undergraduate, master and doctoral programs to its 8,100 students. The school is known for its innovative programs, high caliber students, influential faculty research, leadership in the use of technology and dynamic ties with business.

The school places high value on the powerful combination of research and teaching. The faculty is dedicated to the creation and dissemination of new knowledge. Faculty includes some of the world's most influential thinkers, who publish regularly in the top academic journals and present at conferences and symposia around the world.

Program Mission

Develop CEOs with expertise in finance and CFOs with transnational operation ability to meet the challenges of economic globalization.

Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to be a world-class executive MBA program with a concentration on financial management. To leverage participants' existing strengths in financial management and institutional knowledge in the financial services sector, the curriculum has a strong institutional focus on this sector and at the same time provides intensive knowledge on managerial decision-making and strategic formulation. Accordingly, the curriculum is designed with a strong inter-disciplinary focus, while achieving cycle time efficiency. Each course will be delivered in an intensive manner over two consecutive weekends with four full days of face-to-face instruction and supplemented by online interactions between faculty and participants.

They are among the top faculty members from Arizona State University as well as from other leading business schools such as Stanford, MIT, Yale, NYU and University of Hong Kong Science and Technology.
