| Xia Dawei
President
of Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI), secretary of
SNAI's Party Committee, secretary-general of APEC Finance and
Development Program (AFDP), professor and supervisor for doctoral
candidates. Born in 1953, Xia Dawei received his Master's Degree
in Economics from the Department of Industrial Economics, Shanghai
University of Finance and Economics in 1985. From 1988 to 1990,
he was a visiting researcher at Osaka City University. From 1993,
he worked at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, as
dean of the School of International Business Administration, assistant
to president, vice president and executive vice president of the
university. He was then concurrently designated to be deputy chief
of China's Association of Industrial Economics Research and Development,
vice president of China Accounting Society, director of Shanghai
Industrial Economics Research Committee, member of Research Council
for Listed Companies of Shanghai Stock Exchange Committee. In
1997, he was awarded as the Cross-century Talent of China by the
Ministry of Finance of China. In 1998, he was listed as the Cross-century
Talent on Culture and Social Science by the Ministry of Education
of China, and enjoys a special government allowance authorized
by the State Council.
Guan Yimin
Vice
president of Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI), professor.
Born in 1950, Guan Yimin graduated from the Accounting School
of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and worked there
as a faculty member from 1983. In 1990, he was appointed vice
president and executive vice president of the Adult Education
College of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. From
1998, he worked as assistant to the president of Shanghai University
of Finance and Economics, and was concurrently designated to be
vice president of Shanghai Research Association of Accounting
Education for Young and Middle-aged Students, member of Shanghai
Adult Higher Education Research Association, member of the Self-Study
Examination Instruction Group of the National Higher Education
Committee. In 2002, he began to enjoy a special government allowance
authorized by the State Council.
Xie Rong
Vice
president of Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI), professor,
supervisor of doctoral candidates. Born in 1952, Xie Rong received
his Master's Degree in Accounting from Shanghai University of
Finance and Economics in 1985, and Doctor's Degree in Economics
from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 1992. From
1995 to 1996, he was a visiting scholar for advanced research
at the University of Warwick, Britain. From 1985, he worked as
a faculty member at the Accounting School of Shanghai University
of Finance and Economics. From 1994 to 1997, he was associate
dean of the Accounting School of Shanghai University of Finance
and Economics. From December 1997 to September 2002, he worked
as a partner at KPMG. He was then concurrently designated by the
Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council to be the expert
on the authentication of Master's Degree in Accounting. He is
also a standing director of China's Accounting Professors Association.
Li Kouqing
Vice-president
of Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI), deputy secretary-general
of APEC Finance and Development Program (AFDP), deputy secretary
of SNAI's Party Committee, professor. Born in 1965, Li Kouqing
received his Master's Degree in Economics from Shanghai University
of Finance and Economics in 1988, and Doctor's Degree in Business
Administration from School of International Business Administration,
Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2001. From 1996
to 1997, he was a visiting scholar at the American Graduate School
of International Management (Thunderbird). From 1988, he worked
as a faculty member in the Department of Economics and Trade,
Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. From 1998 to 2000,
he was designated to be the Chinese administrator of the Sino-U.S
Joint MBA Program at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
