Li Kouqing attends the meeting for inaugural issue of China Management Accounting and the forum on exploring development——creating value 

The inaugural publication of China Management Accounting sponsored by China Association of Chief Financial Officers and the forum themed on exploring development and value creation were held on July 30 in Beijing. Mr. Xu Hongcai, the assistant finance minister attended the inaugural publication and gave remarks. Dr. Li Kouqing, the president of SNAI was invited as forum speaker to discuss the development and trend of China’s management accounting.





SNAI faculty visit Australia for CPA ToT training 


SNAI faculty went to Australia for CPA ToT training as part of the efforts to develop SNAI into an internationally renowned institute by improving the internationalization of its faculty capacity. The one-week training was organized by CPA Australia, focusing on introducing ethics and governance, financial statement and strategic management accounting through case study and experience sharing sessions. 



SNAI big data and accounting development research center joins hands with ICAEW to organize visit trips to enterprises 


The SNAI big data and accounting development research center has been working with ICAEW to organize visit trips to enterprises such as Haier group, Hexagon recently for its alumni and members in order to learn about the enterprises experiences in upgrading and transformation. These companies are leaders in intelligent manufacturing, organizational change, process re-engineering. The study trips would help the participants to have an in-depth understanding of innovative management approach and experience, which could be used for the transformation and development of their own enterprises. 



SNAI inaugural course on analysis and application of financial big data successfully completed    


The SNAI inaugural course on analysis and application of financial big data was successfully held on August 5-7. This course is the key project the SNAI big data and accounting development research center is committed to. It aims to equip the finance officers with ability to analyze and think about data and provide guidance in terms of transformation and upgrading for intelligent and innovative financial management.




2017 SNAI full-time graduates successfully registered 


All together 110 full-time graduate students of 2017 were successfully registered at SNAI on August 13. The orientation on elective courses was organized on August 14 and all the faculty of elective coures were present to introduce their courses. Professor Wang guohua, the dean of college of law of Shanghai Maritime University was invited to give a lecture on integrity and honesty as the first course offered to the new graduate students. 





The 12th LATP training held at SNAI 


The 12th LATP training was held at SNAI on August 20. Mr.Gao yibin, the director general of the department of accounting of the Ministry of Finance, Dr.Li Kouqing, the president of SNAI attended the opening session and gave remarks. The participant representatives also gave remarks at the opening. 





Dr.Li Kouqing gives lecture for the management staff of   CNPC Tarim Oil Branch 


Dr. Li Kouqing, the president of SNAI gave lecture on strategic management and business model innovation for the management staff of CNPC Tarim Oil Branch,SNAI strategic partner on August 22.The lecture was moderated by Mr. He jiangchuan, the vice president of CNPC Tarim Oil Branch. Mr. Li Luguang, the president of Tarim oil branch as well as about 300 managerial staff at and above director level attended this lecture. 




The workshop on public finance management and reform: the experience of China held at SNAI



The 3rd workshop on public finance management and reform co-sponsored by AFDI and EFI was held at SNAI on August 21. This workshop was part of the Sino-Cambodia capacity building activities for finance officials. About 26 government officials at the level of director general from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Industry and Handicraft, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Ministry of Mines and Energy attended this workshop.
