On Dec 17 and 18, China Development Distance Learning Network 2008 Annual Meeting was convened at Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology. More than 40 representatives from the 13 distance learning centers (DLC) of Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Gansu, Qinghai, Guangxi, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia and Guizhou attended the meeting. The officials from National Development and Reform Commission, the World Bank Beijing Office and Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission were present at the meeting. Ms. Melody Wang and Mr. Richard Liu from the AFDC were invited to the meeting as representatives of Shanghai DLC.
