The first distance learning seminar series on promoting financing public—private partnerships for regional cooperation was initiated by the Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Institute on June 6th, connecting various distance learning sites in the Asia-Pacific region. The seminar attracted 90 participants from the government, businesses and academia in Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Nepal. Dr. Chen chuan from Sichuan University was the keynote speaker with Dr. Jerry from AFDI being the moderator.
