Opening ceremony of 2018 Master of Professional Accounting Program held

The opening ceremony of 2018 Master of Professional Accounting Program was held at SNAI on October 9.  Ha Yu，director of Ministry of Commerce , Liu Beiming, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Commerce Commission, .Li Kouqing, SNAI president, Liu Qin, SNAI vice president and Yi hongxun, SNAI assistant president attended the opening ceremony，which also joined by the faculty representatives, 2017 and 2018 international students.

Workshop on performance evaluation management——experience of China held at SNAI

The workshop on performance evaluation management——experience of China, cosponsored by SNAI and IFT of Vietnam has been held at SNAI recently. Mr. Pham Ngoc Thach, director of Ministry of Finance, Vietnam attended the opening ceremony and gave remarks. 16 participants from different departments of Ministry of Finance, Vietnam, such as public expenditure department, budgeting department, planning department joined this training.

SNAI youth league organizes the third season activity themed travelling with national flag

The third season activity themed travelling with national flag——welcoming CIIE was organized by SNAI youth league during the 2018 national day holiday. This special activity was intended to respond to the “I love China”activity imitated by the Central Committee of Communist Youth League and “travelling with national flag” activity initiated by Shanghai Youth League. This activity was widely participated by SNAI staff, the graduate students as well as international students.

First-aid training for CIIE held at SNAI

The first-aid training for CIIE has been recently held at SNAI to strengthen the service capacity of SNAI volunteer teams to provide efficient and safe services to CIIE. About 100 volunteers including SNAI special team for CIIE, red-seed volunteer team members, faculty representatives as well as workers from the sNAI property management company attended the training.

SNAI-ASU EMBA program ranks 25^th in the world by Financial Times

The Financial Time released the 2018 global top 100 EMBA program on October 15. The EMBA program (finance track), which collaborated between SNAI and Arizona State University still ranks 25^th on the list. The program has been ranking within top 50 for 11 consecutive years since 2008 when it first joined the ranking by Financial Times. 

Training program in rural monitoring and evaluation held at SNAI

The training program in rural monitoring and evaluation, cosponsored by Center on Learning Evaluation and Results(CLEAR), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and SNAI has been held recently at SNAI. 87 international project officials from 56 developing countries as well as 16 experts from CLEAR and IFAD attended this training program to learn the theories and methodologies of monitoring and evaluation and to discuss the valuable experiences in monitoring and evaluation of agricultural projects of each country.

SNAI joins the seventh GDLN seminar in 2018

The seventh GDLN seminar organized by KDI school of public policy and management was held via video conferencing, which was widely participated by 163 participants from 11 countries in the world including SNAI faculty representatives. Discussions were held on how to jointly promote the innovation development for urban construction in the world.

SNAI organizes the seminar on tax econometric model

SNAI research department collaborated with the graduate student department to organize the seminar on tax econometric model to further promote the development of tax courses as well as to improve the teaching and research in tax at SNAI. The 2017 and 2018 graduate students majoring in tax joined this seminar. Professor Zhang renji was invited to give a presentation on quantity model of corporate taxation issues, introducing the current issues about the corporate tax research from the perspectives of the huge difference between the tax laws and systems of each country, corporate tax information disclosure and endophytism.

Donation ceremony held at Xujing nursing home by SNAI running team

The charity run themed caring and health, cosponsored by SNAI and Shanghai Dongguan group has been organized recently, which planned to donate health care products to the local elderly by counting the miles run. So far 2500 miles have been run, which equals to about 2500 pieces of goods donated to the nursing home. Mr. Yi hongxun, SNAI assistant president and Mr. Wang yijun, CFO of the company visited the nursing home for the donation ceremony right before the Double Ninth Festival. Mr. Yi noted that caring for the elderly is one of the Chinese traditional merit. He hoped that there would be more and more people at SNAI offering help and care to the elderly and let them enjoy a carefree life.

Forum for participants of Special Support Program of National Accounting Leading Talents Program (LATP) held in Jiangsu province

The forum themed LATP trip to Jiangsu Province was held at Nanjing University of Finance & Economics on October 21. The forum discussed the topic of new economy empowering enterprise transformation. SNAI President Li Kouqing, Zhao Guang, deputy governor of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance, Zhang weifu, Vice President of Nanjing University of Finance & Economics attended the ceremony and gave remarks.

Strategic cooperation agreement signed between SNAI and Seapower

The strategic cooperation agreement between SNAI and Seapower was signed on October 22. SNAI Vice President Liu qin and Seapower chairman Songwei signed the agreement on behalf of the two parities. The digital tax research center was also launched at the signing ceremony. According to the agreement, both sides will join hands to fully collaborate in the areas of project research, talents nurturing, activity organization and work together to develop the digital tax and finance research center to further improve the competencies in tax affairs, informationization, consultancy services of both sides.

Vice president Liu qin visits in Guangdong provincial association of CPA

The SNAI delegation led by Mr. Liu qin, SNAI vice president visited Guangdong provincial association of CPA and had discussions on October 19. Both sides had in-depth discussion on continuing education and talents development. Mr. Yuan qing, deputy secretary of the association warmly welcomed SNAI visit.  Both sides agreed to strengthen the cooperation in short-term training and degree education, to jointly cultivate the brand of professional education for CPA and to jointly promote the healthy development of the industry.

First mobile studying sessions of EMPAcc program held in Shenzhen

The first mobile studying sessions of EMPAcc program, collaborated between SNAI and CUHK was held in the Shenzhen research institute of CUHK on October 22. This studying agenda lasted for 4 days, including the course of statistics and decision making by CUHK professor Li qinqi and the course of corporate financial reporting by CUHK professor Gu Chaoyang.

Workshop on private public partnership——experience of China held in Suzhou

The training workshop on private public partnership, cosponsored by SNAI, CPPPC and EFI has been held recently in Suzhou. Mr. Li kouqing, SNAI president, Mr. Han bin, deputy director of CPPPC and Mr. Soung Mengkea, deputy state secretary of Ministry of Finance and Economy, Cambodia attended the opening ceremony and gave welcome remarks. All together 25 Cambodian officials at deputy provincial governor level attended the training workshop.

SNAI president Li Kouqing visits Nantong for research of practice and field study of management accounting.

SNAI delegation led by SNAI President Li Kouqing went to Dasheng Group at Nantong city, Jiangsu province on October 28,29 for launching the field study site, which is part of SNAI’s efforts to further improve the development of on-site field study, research best practices of management accounting and deepen the cooperation in senior accounting talents.The delegation also visited  Nantong power company of State Grid Corporation as well as Zhongtian technology group to conduct relevant research.

SNAI Vice President Liu Qin attends the annual meeting of the CPA Australia and gives a keynote speech.

The 2018 annual forum, jointly organized by CPA Australia and SNAI was held in Shanghai on October 26.  Mr. Graeme Meehan, Australian Consul General in Shanghai, Mr. Liu qin, SNAI Vice President, Mr. Sun Zhuo, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as members of East China Committee of the CPA Australia participated in the forum to discuss the cooperation as well as future trend in the accounting sector between China and Australia with the emergence of artificial intelligence. Mr.  Liu Qin was invited to give a presentation on new ideas of the development of finance and accounting in the age of AI at the forum.

China Government Procurement News publishes the SNAI’s national-level project research report

The China Government Procurement News published a series of SNAI’s national-level project research reports titled Evaluation of the Function of Government Procurement Policy——Based on the Government Procurement Practice 2003-2015. The research report, completed in three years was the product of the SNAI research team led by Prof. Zhang Hui, director of the Institute of Government Procurement and Performance Management. It was the first comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of government procurement in China through the construction of the evaluation index system,

First batch of SNAI volunteers for CIIE attends on-site training

SNAI organized the first batch of CIIE volunteers to go for the on-site training on October 27. The relevant government officials from Qingpu district government commended the SNAI volunteers for their commitment and dedication. They adopted some constructive suggestions of the volunteers and encouraged the SNAI volunteers to work wholeheartedly for this great event happening in this city.

Delegation of China Executive Leadership Academy. Pudong visits SNAI for research and investigation

The delegation of China Executive Leadership Academy, Pudong, led by the director of its research department visited SNAI on October 31 for research and investigation of issues such as multidisciplinary planning and development, faculty team development as well as the research project and the related expense management. SNAI Vice President Liu qin met with the delegation. The staff from the office of the president, financial department joined the meeting. Both sides had in-depth discussion in the areas of multidisciplinary planning and development, faculty team development as well as the research project and the related expense management.
