Two SNAI projects approved as the 2019 joint research project collaborated by the Ministry of Finance and provincial universities 

The list of research projects approved as the 2019 joint research project collaborated by the Ministry of Finance and provincial universities has been recently announced by the Ministry of Finance. Among the 30 approved research projects, there are 21 commissioned projects and 9 competitive projects. Two SNAI projects has been selected as competitive projects by the expert panel of the Ministry of Finance.

SNAI president Li Kouqing invited to visit UNIDO

The delegation led by SNAI president Li Kouqing visited the headquarter of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Vienne during May 12-16. During the visit , Li Kouqing met with Li Yong, the director general of UNIDO, discussing the collaboration in capacity building in the area of industrial zone and special economic zone. Both parities agreed to sign the MOU on collaboration between SNAI and UNIDO, which helps to further clarify the focus of cooperation in the next phase.

Delegation of China Executive Leadership Academy, Pudong led by Xiong yun visits SNAI

The delegation of China Executive Leadership Academy, Pudong led by its vice president Xiong yun visited SNAI on May 16, learning the experiences in the field of administration, logistics management, assets management and financial management. Both sides had in-depth discussion on topics such as the institutional arrangements, staffing, service standard, operation model, salary system of the logistics department.  Mr. Yi hongxun, president assistant moderated the meeting.

The second Fun with Chinese contest for international students held

The second Fun with Chinese contest for international students has been recently held to boost the international students’ interests in Chinese language and help to facilitate the communication. The 2017 and 2018 international students have been actively involved in the contest.

The workshop on PPP-the experience of China held at Beijing

The first cohort of workshop on PPP-the experience of China has been recently held in Beijing. The workshop, cosponsored by the AFDI, PPP center of Ministry of Finance, EFI of Cambodia was attended by 28 Cambodian government officials from 21 central miniseries such as the Ministry of finance and economy, Ministry of planning, Ministry of public works and transportation, etc.

SNAI team joins the road of Hsuan Tsang——Gobi desert challenge tournament of business school 

The road of Hsuan Tsang——Gobi desert challenge tournament of business school has been recently held, attracting 64 globally renowned chinese business schools to attend.  About 3000 participants from EMBA, MBA and other EDP programs joined this event. It is the first time that SNAI team has joined the Gobi Desert tournament. The team won the top honor of this tournament, the Shackleton Award after finishing the 108-kilometer enduring journey of courage, perseverance.

SNAI invited to attend ADB workshop on futures thinking and strategy transformation: foresight in action

At the invitation of the Asian Development Bank, SNAI joined the ADB workshop on futures thinking and strategy transformation: foresight in action on May 15 in Beijing. Mr. Sohail Inayatullah, the UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies introduced the concept, six issues and core structure of futures thinking.

SNAI organizes meeting to amend the institutions regarding internal control

The kick-off meeting on internal control was held on May 20 to assign the tasks of revising the institutions regarding internal control. Mr. Liu qin, vice president of SNAI, team leader of internal control moderated the meeting and assign the overall task of internal control for the year of 2019. Mr. Tang chaoyi, director of discipline inspection commission office shed light on the guideline of revision of internal control institutions of Ministry of Finance. Li Kouqing, SNAI president gave the closing remarks at the end of the meeting.

SNAI joins the tug of war competition for the staff working at government institutions

The SNAI labor union and Youth League Committee jointly organized the SNAI faculty and students to attend the tug of war competition titled new journey, new dream catcher on May 18 to celebrate the 70^th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China. The 26 teams joined the final competition at the Shanghai Commercial Accounting School. SNAI team was awarded with the Excellent Organization Award.

The graduate students and international students joined this seminar and had in-depth discussion on financial innovation.

The third cohort of training workshop for the high-end talents in the assets appraisal industry has been recently held at SNAI, attracting 52 participants from the assets appraisal sector. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhang genghua, deputy director of China Appraisal Society and Mr. Li Kouqing, SNAI president gave the opening remarks. Mr. Yang song tang, deputy secretary of China Appraisal Society was present at the opening ceremony.

SNAI attends 2019 CLEAR global forum

The 2019 CLEAR global forum has been recently held at Saint Paulo, Brazil. The directors and program coordinators from six regional CLEAR hubs as well as representatives from donors such as SIDA, IDB and staff of CLEAR secretariat joined this forum. At the forum, SNAI representative briefly introduced the progress of the CLEAR EA center and also joined discussions on important topics.

The 2019 SNAI GDLN talk show——The Talk interviewed the Professor Aggarwal of Copenhagen Business School through GDLN platform on May 28. This episode is about the development of special economic zone. About 380 participants from 37 countries such as Australia, Korea, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Jamaica, China joined the online discussion. 

The general manager and deputy manager of Shanghai branch of China Construction Bank visits SNAI

Mr. Lin shunhui and Ms. Qihong, the general manager and deputy manager of Shanghai branch of China Construction Bank as well as the head of business departments of Shanghai branch and Qingpu sub-branch visited SNAI on May 29. Both sides held meetings and reached consensus on several aspects such as financial service of Yangtze River Delta , financial technology and talents nurturing . Mr.Li Kouqing, SNAI president and the heads of departments attended the meeting.
