I cannot express enough how valuable this course is. As a child, I had always dreamed of being able to speak other languages. After studying French and Spanish, I set my heart on Mandarin. Jin Laoshi is not only a highly qualified linguist, but a language enthusiast. In addition to his passion for languages, and the way they are taught, he teaches with eloquence and zeal. He is always encouraging his students to “抓住机会”, i.e. to make the most of the opportunity to learn the language and culture, and to use the language as a tool to brighten their future.

I would say it is impossible to place a dollar value on the quality of his instruction. I am so honored to have taken this course, and it has been a catalyst to my personal and career development goals. Moreover, it has opened up a completely new world of opportunities to me. 

I am a black woman from one of the smallest countries on the planet that can communicate in one of the largest countries on the planet in one of the most difficult languages to learn, speak and write. For me, this is an answer to my dream of speaking multiple languages, a key that can unlock the door to an amazing future and one step closer to fulfilling my life’s purpose.

This high level course, in only a little over a year, has prepared me to sit an HSK level 2 exam, and it has definitely given me a major confidence boost to approach any complexity in life. Learning to write and speak Mandarin for me is a major accomplishment.

Jin Laoshi said, “learning this language will change your life”, I can attest to this statement!
