Second intensive training of the young accounting talents program for tobacco industry held at SNAI

The second intensive training of the young accounting talents program for Tobacco industry was held at SNAI on October 10. Wu Xiangyun, deputy director general of accounting department of Ministry of Finance and Lu Wenbin, SNAI vice president, attended the opening and gave remarks. Ma Xueguo, director of accounting department of State Tobacco Monopoly Administration hosted the opening ceremony. Wu Xiangyun introduced the accounting reform and development and its relevance to the 14th Five-Year Plan. She stressed the importance of training accounting talents and hoped that the participants of this program could work hard and commit themselves to learning new skills and expertise.

Elite training program of China National Offshore Oil Corporation completed successfully

The Elite Training Program of China National Offshore Oil Corporation has been completed successfully recently. LuoXiao, director of finance and assets department of CNOOC and Lu Wenbin, SNAI vice president, attended the closing ceremony and gave remarks. A total of 40participants from 12 affiliates of the Corporation have spent 23 days at SNAI to complete the learning of 17 course modules, seven case studying, one project research and two field trips.

The opening ceremony of leading accounting talents program of Guangxi Autonomous Region was held on October 10. Chen Haitao, deputy director general of Guangxi provincial finance bureau, Huang Jinhui, deputy director of State-owned Assets Supervision & Administration Commission of Guangxi Autonomous Region, Zhang Gexing, SNAI vice president, together with 51participants attended the opening ceremony, which was hosted by Wang Zhen, director of accounting management department of Guangxi provincial finance bureau.

SNAI working papers win MOF awards

The Ministry of Finance has recently announced the result of the 2020 Excellent Working Paper Awards. All together 22 working papers submitted by SNAI won awards, In terms of Excellent Working Paper Award, there were three Second Prizes, three Third Prizes, four Outstanding Prizes. In terms of Excellent Research Report Award, there was one Second Prize, five Third Prizes and six Outstanding Prizes.

Two SNAI papers got feedback from the leadership of Shanghai Municipal Government

Two SNAI papers related with policy decision making on tax and local bond fund use got the feedback from the senior leadership of Shanghai Municipal Government, which will be circulated to the relevant government departments for policy making references.

ASU-SNAI EMBA program ranks 9th globally according to Financial Times

Financial Times released the annual ranking of the world’s top 100 EMBAs on October 18.SNAI-ASU EMBA has soared to 9th this year. The ranking of the program has been on the rise during the recent five years, from 39thin 2017 to 25th in 2018, 12th in 2019, 11th in2020 and finally 9th in 2021, which marks its first time being among global top 10.

Intelligent Finance Research Institute launched

The Intelligent Finance Research Institute, cosponsored by SNAI, CNPC shared service center, Kingdee International Software Group , Beijing Yuanian Technology Co., Ltd, IMA, was launched on October 17. SNAI president Li Kouqing , vice president Liu Qin as well as the senior executives of the other partners jointly unveiled the plate of the Institute. Important senior positions of the Institute were also announced at the launch conference.

The closing ceremony of capacity building program for enterprises of Qingpu District was completed on October 17. Dong Min, deputy director of economic committee of Qingpu district, Lu Wenbin, SNAI vice president, attended theclosing ceremony. The intensive training of leading accounting talents program of Shandong Province has been recently held at Shandong provincial finance bureau in Jinan city. The lecture on financial transformation and value creation in the digital and intelligent age was given by Professor Sun Zhen of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. A total of 130 participants from the leading accounting talents program of Shandong Province and all the officials of Shandong provincial finance bureau attended the lecture.

Written examination and interview of candidates of leading accounting talents program of Jiaxing city organized successfully

The candidate selection of the leading accounting talents program of Jiaxin city, cosponsored by SNAI and finance bureau of Jiaxing city, has been organized recently. A total of 83 participants were on the shortlist for the next round of interviews after passing the written examination. The structured interview, focusing on hot topics and current affairs, was designed to assess the comprehensive analytical decision making and coordination abilities of the candidates. Those who passed the interview will be eligible to join the leading accounting talents program of Jiaxing city, which will last three years at SNAI.

Seminar on how to apply for projects of the 2020 National Social Science Fund of China

The seminar on how to apply for projects of The National Social Science Fund of China was held at SNAI on October 15. It aims to strengthen the organization and tutoring efforts for the National Social Science Fund application. Professor Pan Fei from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics was invited to give a lecture to share his experience on applying for the Fund.

The six-month training workshop for leading talents of industrial finance of China Baowu Group was completed on October 23. A total of 158participants from the group headquarter and subsidiaries participated in this training program.
