Eighth cohort of leading accounting talents program officially starts

The 8th cohort of leading accounting talents program, commissioned by Shanghai Finance Bureau, was held at SNAI on January 7, 2022. The training aims to further improve the accounting talents training in Shanghai, enhance the core competency of accounting talents, further adapt the accounting work to contributing to the economic development. Qin li, director of accounting department of Shanghai Finance Bureau and Zhang Gexing, SNAI vice president, attended the opening and gave remarks. The event was hosted by Zhu Gang, deputy director of accounting department of Shanghai Finance Bureau.

2020 international students attend the seminar on finance empowering poverty alleviation and rural rejuvenation

2020 international students attended the online seminar on finance empowering poverty alleviation and rural rejuvenation on January 7, 2022.Chang Jie, director of Rural Financial Development Institute of Agricultural Development Bank of China, introduced to the 2020 international students China’s major achievements as well as experience in poverty alleviation as well as the governance system of the poverty alleviation endeavors of Agricultural Development Bank of China based on the history of China’s financial measures for poverty alleviation. Director Chang also discussed with the international students the financial measures that supports the rural infrastructure construction as well as industrial poverty alleviation.

Institute of Accounting and Finance of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics organizes 18th academic innovation seminar

The 18th academic innovation seminar, organized by the Institute of Accounting and Finance of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, was held at SNAI on January 8-9. Professor Li Zengquan, assistant president of SUFE, Professor Jin Qinlu, dean of school of accountancy of SUFE, Professor Zhu Kai, deputy dean, Professor Zeng Qinsheng, deputy dean, Professor Zhou Bo, assistant dean, Professor Tang Song, assistant dean, Professor He Xianjie, assistant dean of Institute of Accounting and Finance as well as all faculty of the School of Accountancy, SNAI faculty representatives as well as doctoral students and postgraduates attended the seminar, which aims to discuss the up-to-date research plan and working papers to produce more high-quality academic products.

Four SNAI research projects approved as the Provincial and Ministerial Collaborated research projects by Ministry of Finance

The Ministry of Finance announced the list of research projects approved as the provincial and ministerial collaborated research project on January 5, 2022, which include all together 33 projects. This year 18 SNAI faculty applied for the projects, covering 19 topics. After the projects were reviewed by the experts of Ministry of Finance, four SNAI projects got approved, including three commissioned research projects and one competitive research project.

SNAI Education Development Fund accredited as 4A civil society organization

SNAI Education Development Fund has been accredited as 4A civil society organization after the review recently. This is the first time that SNAI Education Development Fund got accreditation in three years since its launch.
