The 5th general meeting of SNAIlabor union and the 5^th general election meeting of the labor unioncommittee were successfully held on August 1. The meeting was moderated by LuWenbin, SNAI vice president as well as chairman of the 4^th laborunion committee. The SNAI senior management and all the members of SNAI laborunion attended the meeting. The new labor union committee and the new womenworkers' committee were elected during the meeting. Bai Xiaohong, SNAI vicepresident, made a statement on behalf of the newly elected new labor unioncommittee. SNAI vice president Liu Qin made closing remarks.

The summit forum on Accounting TechnologyAccech Coping with the Challenges of Uncertainty and the press conference of Top10 information technologies affecting Chinese accountants in 2022, jointlysponsored by Kingdee Software (China) Co., Ltd., ZTE New Cloud Service Co.,Ltd., UFIDA Network Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Yuanian Technology Co., Ltd.and Inspur General Software Co., Ltd., and organized by SNAI, were successfullyheld at SNAI on July 30, attracting nearly 30000 people watching the livebroadcast of the forum. The relevant official of the Accounting Department ofthe Ministry of Finance delivered an opening speech. Professor Liu Qin, SNAIvice president and chairman of the Accounting Informatization Committee of theChinese Accounting Society, introduced the selection from several aspects,including the selectione process, voting samples, and result analysis. Theforum officially released the top ten information technologies affectingChinese accountants in 2022, and invited guest speakers to interpret theapplications of the top ten information technologies, and to assess theprospects of the five potentially influential information technologies. TheAccounting Informatization Committee of the Chinese Accounting Society and theInstitute of Intelligent Finance provided academic support for the forum.

Leading accounting talents program of AnhuiProvince (first cohort) officially kicks off

The leading accounting talents program ofAnhui Province was held at SNAI on August 8. Wang Chaohui, deputy directorgeneral of the Anhui provincial finance bureau, and the heads of the accountingdepartment, general affairs department, personnel department and the otherrelevant departments of Anhui provincial finance bureau participated in theopening ceremony of the program via video. SNAI vice president Liu Qin and vicepresident Zhang Gexing attended the event and delivered remarks. A total of 60financial directors from large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises andprivate enterprises participated in the training.

Training program of Jiangxi CopperCorporation kicks off

The two-year training program for youngfinance talents are jointly initiated by Jiangxi Copper Corporation and SNAI.The first cohort of the training program was held at SNAI on August 8,attracting a total of 50 participants. The 5-day training of the second cohort ofthe leading evaluation talents training program for Jiangsu Institute ofCertified Public Accountants was successfully held in Nantong city, JiangsuProvince during August 7 to August 12. This training was designed based onpracticability and applicability in view of the fact that there are a largenumber of small and medium-sized accounting firms registered in JiangsuProvince. Cao Jinhai, director of Nantong finance bureau, and Ding Qingbo, secretarygeneral of Jiangsu Institute of Certified Public Accountants, attended the openingceremony and delivered speeches.

Continuing education for senior accountantsin Zhejiang Province kicks off

The first cohort of the continuing educationworkshop for senior accountants in Zhejiang Province was held at Hangzhou cityduring August 3-6, attracting nearly 180 participants from public institutionsof Zhejiang Province. SNAI was the No.1 winning bidder in the competitive biddingfor offering continuing education programs for senior accountants of ZhejiangProvince 2022-2024 in June. As a result, SNAI will collaborate with theaccounting affairs service center of Zhejiang Province to conduct continuingeducation training of 11 projects, benefiting nearly 2000 participants.

Seminar on Financial Management InformationSystem (FMIS): Experience of China successfully held

The seminar on Financial ManagementInformation System (FMIS): experience of China, jointly organized by SNAI andthe Economic and Financial Institute (EFI) of the Ministry of Finance andEconomics of Cambodia, was successfully conducted online from August 1 toAugust 2. More than 50 officials from the Ministry of Finance and Economics ofCambodia and provincial finance departments attended the seminar. The expertsfrom relevant departments of the Ministry of Finance of China shared thepractice and experience of China's fiscal and tax system reform and localfinancial management and introduced in detail the development process ofChina's financial management information system, the construction of financialbudget management integration, and the role of financial management informationsystem in achieving public expenditure management policy objectives.

In order to further understand thedevelopment of the accounting firm, meet the needs of talents training, andcreate a talent training base. The delegation of SNAI training department, ledby Bai Xiaohong, SNAI vice president visited Shanghai Hugang InternationalConsulting Group Co., Ltd. Cross-departmental meeting held tocoordinate affairs relating to international students returning to China

According to the latest national policy on reopening,the international students of SNAI are expected to come back this September. Inorder to make arrangements to accommodate the students returning to school, thecross-departmental meeting was held on August 2 to coordinate the affairsrelating to students coming back. The heads of the finance department, logistics department and generalaffairs office as well as department of international graduate education allattended the meeting to discuss the related issues including pandemic controland prevention, daily health management and logistic support issues.

The 4-day seminar on China’s tax system andtax administration of the first cohort of Sino-Lao capacity building program, collaboratedbetween SNAI and Academy of Finance and Accounting (AFA), was held via videolink during August 15-18, attracting a total of 39 participants from differentdepartments of the Ministry of Finance, Lao PDR. The training program for the first batch ofmanagement talents of the CPA industry of Zhejiang Province was successfullyheld at Weihai city on August 17. Dai Yefei, vice president and secretary generalof Zhejiang Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Sun Jianguo, director ofthe examination and training department of Zhejiang Institute of CertifiedPublic Accountants, participated in the closing ceremony and issued graduationcertificates to all participants.

Training program on refined operation ofXinhua Hospital supported by financial management (second cohort) successfully completed.

The training program (teaching case-based)on refined operation of Xinhua Hospital supported by financial management (secondcohort), jointly organized by the finance department of Xinhua Hospitalaffiliated to the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and SNAI,was completed on August 20. The training was conducted both on-site and online,attracting a total of more than 240 participants from health care systemsnationwide. A total of 50 participants came to SNAI to participate in thetraining. Yang Shaochun, director of the financial department of XinhuaHospital, and the relevant personnel of SNAI training department attended theopening ceremony of the program.

Advanced CFO training program (the 29thcohort) successfully completed

The 29th advanced CFO training program washeld at SNAI during August 11-14. The financial executives from SunflowerPharmaceutical, iFLYTEK, China Ruyi, Vanchuam holdings and other companiesattended the training. SNAI organized a special forum as the closing event ofthe program. Huang Rong, former CFO of Alibaba Group, was invited to give a presentationon the road of financial evolution: from the backstage to the front and middleplatform. The forum was live broadcasted, attracting more than 10000participants to follow the event.

Special-topic training on innovation ofenterprise financial management against the backdrop of carbon peaking andcarbon neutrality goals successfully launched

The special-topic training of the 2022advanced training program the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Securitywas held via video link on August 25. The 4-day training focused on theinnovation of enterprise financial management against the backdrop of carbonpeaking and carbon neutrality goals, attracting a total of 118 students.

In order to implement the requirements ofthe Accounting Industry Talent Development Plan (2021-2025) issued by theMinistry of Finance and strengthen the cooperation between SNAI and Shanghaimunicipal finance bureau in talent training, the SNAI delegation, led by ZhangGexing, vice president of SNAI, visited the Bureau on August 29. SNAI faculty wins the Excellent TeachingCase Awards for the Master of Finance degree programs nationwide 

The winners of the 8th Teaching Cases Contestfor Master of Finance Degree Program were announced on the official website ofthe National Education Steering Committee of Master of Finance Degree Program onAugust 22. The Contest was organized by the National Education SteeringCommittee of Master of Finance Degree Program. A total of 1058 valid teaching caseswere received, among which 215 met the threshold standard of the Case Center ofChina Master of Finance Degree Program. The teaching cases, developedrespectively by SNAI associate professor Ye Xiaojie and Ma Changfeng, won theNational Excellent Teaching Case Awards and their teaching cases were includedin the list of the eighth (2022) teaching case collection of the Case Center ofChina Master of Finance Degree Program.
