SNAI attended the video conference organized by the Ministry of Finance to mobilize the implementation of publicizing and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress.
The Ministry of Finance organized the video conference, which aimed to mobilize the implementation of publicizing and implementing the spirit of 20th CPC National Congress on November 10. Liu Kun, finance minister of the Ministry of Finance, delivered a speech on the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress. Zhu Zhongming, deputy minister of the Ministry of Finance, hosted the conference. All SNAI leadership as well as faculty and staff attended the meeting via video link.
SNAI Party Secretary Zhang Feng gave a lecture to graduated students.
SNAI successfully held the 46th SNAI Youth Lecture - "Interactive Party Lecture: Communication with Young Students" on November 9. Zhang Feng, Party secretary of SNAI, gave a Party lecture to graduate students of SNAI, shedding light on the practical issued faced in their study life and career planning. A total of more than 100 full-time graduate students of 2021 class and 2022 class participated in the activity conducted in the form of questions and answers. The students expressed their gratitude to SNAI faculty and staff for their tremendous efforts to promote the students’ academic growth at SNAI .
SNAI organized a lecture on transaction costs and digitalization for international students.
The lecture on transaction costs and digitalization was held via video link on November 4 for the international students of 2021 class and 2022 class. Tetsushi Sonobe, dean of ADBI, was invited to give the lecture, introducing the origin and development of transaction cost theory, combined with specific case analysis, the role of digital technology in reducing transaction costs and improving supply chain efficiency, as well as its effect in promoting the inclusive economic development in the remote and rural areas by solving the inequality of digital literacy.
Young Scholars Forum of SNAI and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics was successfully held.
SNAI and the School of Accounting of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics jointly held the 2022 Young Scholars Forum on November 11. The forum was held via video link inviting six young scholars to give presentations on corporate tax burden, corporate human capital innovation, digital transformation, etc.

The training workshop for senior management of the Postal Savings Bank of China—Shanghai Branch (first cohort) was held on October 31,2022. Chen Wei, secretary of the Party Committee and president of Shanghai Branch of Postal Savings Bank of China, and Lu Wenbin, vice president of SNAI, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. First joint training course for leading talents in the asset appraisal industry (Jiangsu Province and Shandong Province) was successfully completed.
The first joint training course for leading talents in the asset appraisal industry was successfully held during November 1-5. More than 40 students from Jiangsu and Shandong provinces participated in the training. Bai Xiaohong, vice president of SNAI, Li Zailin, director general of the Jiangsu provincial finance bureau, Chen Wenwen, vice president and secretary-general of the Shandong Provincial Assets Appraisal Association, and Wu Lin, vice president and secretary-general of the Jiangsu Provincial Assets Appraisal Association, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

The leading accounting talents training program of Jiujiang City (third cohort) was held at SNAI on November 6. Li Yonghua, deputy Director of the Jiujiang finance bureau, Zhang Yanghui, director of the accounting division of the Jiangxi provincial finance bureau, Liu Chen, deputy director of the Organization Department of the CPC Jiujiang Municipal Committee, Wu Xiaomei, deputy director of the Jiujiang Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Zhang Gexing, vice president of SNAI, attended the opening ceremony and gave remarks. A total of 60 participants from various administrative institutions and enterprises have been admitted to the program.

The opening ceremony of the 2021/2022 Master of Professional Accounting Program for Development Countries was held both online and offline on November 24. Gao Daping, deputy director of the Accounting Department of the Ministry of Finance (Office of the Board of Directors of the National Accounting Institute), and Zhang Feng, secretary of the Party Committee of SNAI, delivered remarks. Liu Beimin, deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Lu Wenbin, vice president of SNAI, Zhang Gexing, vice president of SNAI, as well as the heads of relevant departments and faculty representatives of SNAI attended the ceremony. A total of 51 international students from 19 developing countries including Botswana, Sierra Leone, Venezuela, and Myanmar, etc. attended the ceremony.

The opening ceremony of the 2022 Master's Degree Programs of SNAI was successfully held both online and offline. Nearly 300 EMBA, EMPAcc and MiM students participated in the event, which was moderated by Professor Lu Wenbin, vice president of SNAI. Zhang Feng, secretary of the Party Committee of SNAI, Ohad Kadan, dean of the W.P Carey School of Business of Arizona State University, and Professor Zhou Lin, dean of the Business School of Chinese University of Hong Kong, were invited to deliver speeches respectively. The sixth summit on Accounting Infrastructure Promoting the "the Belt and Road" Initiative, jointly sponsored by SNAI and Guangxi provincial finance bureau, was held in Nanning city on November 16, attracting nearly 8000 participants. The summit constituted the efforts of both sides to implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress. It focused on consolidating the accounting infrastructure to empower the China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation. Hu Fan, director general of Guangxi provincial finance bureau, and Zhang Feng, secretary of the Party Committee of SNAI, attended the forum and delivered speeches respectively. Li Kouqing, AMRO director, Wu Xiangyun, director general of the resident office of the regulatory bureau of the Ministry of Finance at Guangxi, Chen Haitao, deputy director general of Guangxi provincial finance bureau, Professor Cui Fan, executive director of the China World Trade Organization Research Association, and Sun Feng, director of the supervision and evaluation bureau of the Ministry of Finance, were invited to deliver keynote presentations respectively.

The Digital Intelligence Financial Summit Forum joint with the second SNAI Yangtze River Delta Financial Technology Forum, jointly sponsored by SNAI, iFLYTEK Co., Ltd., China Banking and Insurance News and Anhui Internet Finance Association, were successfully held on November 17, attracting nearly 4000 participants to follow both online and offline. The forum focused on accelerating the application of financial intelligence scenarios, empowering digital innovation and business growth. Zhang Feng, secretary of Party Committee of SNAI, Zhang Shikui, deputy director of the financial development department of Anhui provincial financial supervision and administration, Du Zengliang, general manager of China Banking and Insurance Media Co., Ltd., Duan Dawei, senior vice president and CFO of iFLYTEK were invited to attend the forum and deliver speeches respectively. Online training on analysis of financial statement review standard for Macau participants was successfully held.
In order to promote the exchange and communication between the accounting circles of mainland China and Macau SAR, SNAI and the Macao Professional Committee of Accountants have been cooperating since 2016, organizing special-topic lectures and training courses for Macao's accounting practitioners, introducing and sharing the latest accounting development in mainland, which have achieved good results and feedback in recent years. The training on analysis of financial statement review standard, jointly organized by the Macao Professional Committee of Accountants, SNAI and the Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Center was successfully held online on November 15, attracting nearly 300 Macao certified public accountants. The training focused on Chinese CPA's financial statement review standards, comparing the differences between auditing and review business, and analyzing the characteristics and procedures of the review business with real-life cases.
Lectures on application guidance for the national-level research projects was held.
In order to strengthen the organization work of national-level research projects application at SNAI, and improve the quality of the application statement, the lecture on application guidance for the national-level research projects was held on November 28. Huang Jianzhong, professor at the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, was invited to share his experience on applying for national social science projects and writing special reports for think tanks. The lecture was hosted by Bai Xiaohong, vice president of SNAI. A total of 35 faculty and staff participated in the lecture.
SNAI’s Blue Book of Financial Application of AI Technology officially was released.
Supported by the Institute of Intelligent Finance of SNAI, the Blue Book of Financial Application of AI Technology, which was jointly compiled by SNAI and Kingdee International, IMA, ZTE New Cloud, iFLYTEK, UFIDA, Inspur Group and other companies for half a year, was officially released on November 18. The book aims to help and guide the financial departments of enterprises and institutions as well as financial personnel to be informed of the technology types and development trends of AI, and better understand the application of AI in the fields of financial sharing service center, expense reimbursement, management accounting, financial management, tax management, etc.
SNAI Red Seed volunteer team were awarded the Shanghai Model Youth Medal.
A total of 200 organizations and 298 individuals were awarded Shanghai Model Youth Medal on November 18. After competition and selection, the Red Seed volunteer team of SNAI won the award.
