The 2020 IMA award ceremony was held at SNAI in the afternoon of November 8th. This is the first time that the event was held both online and offline at the same time. Due to the pandemic, 18 students of 2019 class could not come back to China, so only 12 international students were present at the ceremony.
Lu Wenbin, SNAI Vice President as well as Richard Li, IMA chief representative of China attended this event and delivered speeches. The winners of the Best Academic Performance Award as well as Academic Progress Award were announced at the ceremony. The representatives of the award winners Negash Kelil Bushura and Chioma Rita Okafor shared their stories of overcoming the difficulties while focusing on studying during the pandemic.
