To study China's rural revitalization, 12 international students from the class of 2019 visited Lianhu Village in the afternoon of April 16, 2021. The village is named after the "Lianhu Lake" with 60% of its embankment scenery along the lake. In 2015, Lianhu Village was selected as one of the models of the Shanghai Beautiful Rural Village, in 2018 it was selected as a National Ecological Cultural Village. In the same year,it was selected as one of the model villages of Shanghai Rural Revitalization.
