Li Lin is an associate professor at the Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI).
She obtained her Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) in 2006. She was an advanced research scholar at University of California (Berkeley) (2013-2014) and a visiting scholar at Edinburgh Napier University (2009).
Prior to joining SNAI, Li had been on the faculty team at Accounting School of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE) from 2006 to 2019. From 2010 to 2019, she also served as director of international collaboration program in accounting school of SUIBE.
She was enrolled into the International High-end Accounting Talent Program of the Ministry of Finance of China from 2018 and International Finance and Economics Talent Program of the Ministry of Finance of China from 2021.
Her research interests include accounting standards (CAS, IFRS accounting standards & IFRS sustainability standards, and US GAAP) and micro-effects of macroeconomic policy. She has finished a number of research programs including programs from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education in China. She has also published a number of papers and earned research award.
She has offered courses including Chinese Accounting Standards, Financial Accounting Theory and Practice, Comparison of IFRS and CAS, etc. She has won several teaching awards from Shanghai government and SUIBE.
