SNAI organizes the general conference to celebrate the 98^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China

The Party committee of SNAI organized the general conference to celebrate the 98^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China as well as the Party lecture on July 1, commending the outstanding CPC member and the outstanding workers for Party affairs. SNAI President Li Kouqing, gave a Party lecture on remaining true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind to further promote the development of SNAI towards an internationally renowned accounting institute.

Training for the deputies to the National People’s Congress (eighth cohort) held  

The training for the deputies to the National People’s Congress (eighth cohort) was held at SNAI from July 4-9. This event was co-sponsored by the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Legal Work Committee of the National People's Congress, attracting 430 deputies to the NPC as well as 70 NPC liaison officials and staff for provinces, autonomous regions, SARs and PLA.

Forum on information technology and the future of finance held and the top 10 information technologies that affect the Chinese accounting practitioners for 2019 announced

The forum on information technology and the future of finance, sponsored by SNAI has been held recently, attracting 400 participants to join this event. At the forum, the top 10 information technologies that affect the Chinese accounting practitioners for 2019 were also released. The speakers invited gave a deeper interpretation of the top 5 technologies selected.

Commencement ceremony for the international students of class of 2019 held

The commencement ceremony for the international students of the 2017-2019 Master of Professional Accounting Program was held on July 4. The event was attended by SNAI President Li Kouqing, Vice President Lu Wenbin, Assistant President Yi hongxun, Mr. Ha Yu, director of the MOFCOM Training Center, Ms. Liu bei min, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Ms. Zhu Xiao yun, the chief representative of Central China of ACCA, the heads of the departments of SNAI as well as the graduating class and their families.

SNAI President Li kouqing invited to attend the second advisory council meeting of CAREC institute and CAREC Senior Officials’ Meeting

SNAI President Li Kouqing has been recently invited to attend the second advisory council meeting of CAREC Institute (CI) , held at Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The meeting discussed the topics such as strengthening the institutional capacity building of CI, promoting the integration process of CAREC mechanism and how to help the member countries to strengthen the capacity building to address the challenges brought by climate change. In the meantime, President Li Kouqing was also invited to attend the CAREC Senior Officials’ Meeting and joined the discussions on deepening the cooperation of CAREC mechanism in certain areas and the preparation for the 18^th CAREC Ministerial Meeting.

The high-level training workshop on accounting for enterprises of Guangxi, the training workshop for leading accounting talents of Xinjiang, the training workshop for leading  accounting talents of Guangxi CPA association, the training workshop on budget review of People’s Congress of Changchun city, the training workshop on corporate finance of CNPC Bohai drilling engineering company of Tianjin city have been recently held at SNAI in succession.

Seminar on B&R: technology development and accounting infrastructure development successfully held

The seminar on B&R: technology development and accounting infrastructure development, jointly sponsored by Accounting Society of China, ACCA, Deloitte China, Yonyou Group, Inspur Group and SNAI was held on July 10^th. About 500 participants from governments, businesses and international organizations joined this event, discussing the relevant accounting issues in the process of B&R cooperation to promote the B&R initiative through strengthening the accounting infrastructure.

SNAI foundation for education development officially launched

The SNAI foundation for education development was officially launched on July 10 and the first donation ceremony was successfully held. The trustees and the directors of the foundation jointly unveiled the foundation plate. SNAI President Li Kouqing presented the letters of appointment to the first cohort of the trustees and directors. Some representatives of the trustees and graduating class made the donation to the foundation. The SNAI foundation aims to support and promote the development of the institute and strengthen the teaching quality and academic quality to better serve the alumni and the society.

The participants from the training workshop for accounting talents of Guangxi province have visited Pan-China accounting firm for field study recently. They learned the history, organizational structure and corporate culture of the Pan-China accounting firm as well as its experience in human resources development in the new era through visiting the headquarter office, exhibition room of the honors and awards of Pan-China as well as listening to the presentations given by Pan-China colleagues.

Graduation ceremony of the training workshop for leading talents (second cohort) of the budget units of National Health Commission held at SNAI

The graduation ceremony of the training workshop for leading talents of the budget units of National Health Commission (NHC) has been recently held at SNAI. Zhao shuli, deputy director general of the NHC and Lu Wenbin, SNAI Vice President attended the ceremony and also awarded the honorary certificates to the excellent participants, students with the excellent research projects and best practice projects. The graduation certificates were awarded to all the class.

National leading accounting talents offer non-profit outreach program in Xinjiang autonomous region

The outreach program themed on accounting innovation and targeted poverty alleviation offered by the National Leading Accounting Talents program was successfully held on July 14 in Urumqi, Xinjiang autonomous region, attracting almost 300 participants, including the heads of the financial and fiscal system in Xinjiang and accounting talents in Xinjiang and from other parts of China. This event was cosponsored by the Xinjiang provincial finance department, the resident regulatory bureau of the Ministry of Finance in Xinjiang, the finance bureau of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and China Accounting News. He Zhenguo, director general of the resident regulatory bureau of the MOF in Xinjiang, Zhu jie, chief accountant of Xinjiang provincial finance department , Hu Xiaoping, deputy director general of the finance bureau of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and Li Kouqing, SNAI President attended the event and gave opening remarks.

IFRS seminar held at SNAI

The seminar on IFRS, cosponsored by Asian-Oceanian Standard-Setters Group, the accounting department of the Ministry of Finance, PRC, the Accounting Standards Committee as well as SNAI has been recently held at SNAI. Li Kouqing, SNAI President as well as Sue Lloyd, IASB Vice-Chairman and Lu Jianqiao , IASB fellow board member attended the opening ceremony. The experts of accounting standards setting bodies from China, Brunei, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka joined this event to exchange ideas and views.

The 16^th SNAI-ASU executive forum as well as the he graduation ceremony of the EMBA 15th cohort and opening ceremony of the 17th cohort have been recently held at SNAI. Professor Michael Hanemann, member of the National Academy of Sciences and Professor Peng sen, director of State Commission for Restructuring the Economic System gave the keynote speeches. SNAI President, Li Kouqing, SNAI Vice President, Lu Wenbin, Dean of the W.P Carey School of Businesses of Arizona State University, Amy Hillman as well as EMBA students joined this event.

SNAI organized the expert panel on July 16 to discuss the construction of SNAI integrity exhibition room and SNAI gallery to further strengthen the development of integrity culture. Xu xiang, director of China Finance & Taxation Museum, Song xiaoming, director of China Accounting Museum, He Kun, chief accountant of Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Ying Wangjiang, director of development and planning department of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SHUFE) , Yu Shihong, director of SNAI gallery of SHUFE joined the discussion on the exhibition , presentation of SNAI integrity culture.

BNAI delegation led by its Party Secretary Zhang fengling visits SNAI for meeting

The BNAI (Beijing National Accounting Institute) delegation led by its Party Secretary Zhang fengling and Vice President Li li visited SNAI on July 17 for meeting. SNAI President Li kouqing moderated the seminar, which attended by Liu qin, SNAI Vice President and the heads of the institute departments. Both sides had an in-depth discussion on Party building work, human resources development, internal control and finance work.

SNAI associate professor Zhu dan designated as the consultant for the Accounting Standards Committee for the second time

The name list of the consultants for the government accounting standards committee has been recently released by the Ministry of Finance. Zhu dan, associate professor of SNAI was designated as the consultant of the committed for the second term consecutively.

SNAI organized its party members and cadres to attend the live commendatory meeting for Party building work and Party lecture organized by Ministry of Finance on July 26. The leading Party organization at grass-root level as well as the outstanding CPC members were commended at the meeting and discussions were arranged to share the experience of Party building work. Liu kun, Chinese Finance Minister, gave the Party lecture on remaining true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind put forward by Chinese President Xi.

CICPA online course on policy briefing of tax cuts and fee reduction held

The online course on policy briefing of tax cuts and fee reduction, commissioned by CICPA was held from July 23-25. The local CPA associations from 32 provinces and autonomous regions joined this online course. About 11000 accounting practitioners from accounting firms, SMEs, and finance and fiscal departments watched the online course on policy briefing of tax cuts and fee reduction at the same time at their respective distance sites, the number of which added up to more than 400. It has been the online course with the biggest coverage, the most participants recorded and the most diversified profile of the participants so far.

Integrity education campaign held for the participants of training workshop for Shandong provincial CPA association

The training workshop for Shangdong provincial CPA association has been recently held at SNAI. The Integrity Education Campaign was organized for the participants of this workshop. The instructor led the participants to walk through the routes that taken by the former Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji when he first officially visited SNAI to relive the moment when Mr. Zhurong ji wrote the SNAI motto, no accounting fraud. Discussion on integrity was held organized among the participants afterwards. 

SNAI online education team heads for distance learning center of BNAI for experience learning

The SNAI online education team of the information department, led by Lu wenbin, SNAI Vice President headed for the Beijing National Accounting Institute(BNAI) to learn the experience of online education businesses of BNAI. Both sides had an in-depth discussion on online education arrangements, online course development, the technology optimization of course recording and broadcasting.

SNAI organizes the 2019 national summer camp held for outstanding colleges students

The 2019 national summer camp, organized by SNAI was held from July 19 to July 22, attracting 98 college students from about 50 universities nationwide. Lu Wenbin, SNAI Vice President attended the opening of the summer camp and gave welcome remarks. Eventually 64 outstanding students were selected after going through the written exam, case study, interview and case competition.

SNAI Alumni event held to promote the traditional culture

SNAI Alumni Office invited Mr. Shan qixiang, former director of the Palace museum to give a presentation on faithfully carrying forward the Chinese traditional culture on July 21 to bring the alumni in Beijing a fascinating experience of the Palace Museum. This event was held in an effort to build the SNAI brand and enrich the alumni activities as well as to promote the education campaign themed on remaining true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind put forward by Chinese President Xi.
