Strategic cooperation agreement reached between SNAI and Sichuan Provincial Finance Department

In order to better integrate the resources to serve the development of leading accounting talents for middle and west of China, SNAI has recently reached the strategic cooperation agreement with the Sichuan Provincial Finance Department based on the benign cooperation between both parties so far. The signing ceremony of the agreement was held at SNAI on October 8. Li Jiiayuan, Chief Accountant, Member of the Party Group of Sichuan Provincial Financial Department, Li Kouqing, SNAI President and Yi Hongxun, SNAI Assistant President, attended the signing ceremony. Both sides will continue to further and strengthen cooperation in the areas of jointly developing teaching base, innovating talents training ,carrying out research projects, scaling up the field study sites with respective advantages of both sides, which could help to meet the demands for leading accounting talents brought by the economic development in the west.

SNAI outreach training program in Tibet held

Commissioned by the CICPA, SNAI has recently organized an outreach training program in Tibet. Dawa, Deputy Director General of Tibet Provincial Financial Department, and Yi Hongxun, SNAI Assistant President, attended the opening ceremony and gave remarks. About 200 participants including the officials from the subordinate bureaus of the Tibet Provincial Finance Department, the CPAs and assistant accountants from accounting firms in Tibet joined this training. This is the first time that SNAI outreach program has been held in Tibet since 2012 when it was commissioned by CICPA to provide capacity building activities to the underdeveloped western region of China.

China-Vietnam training workshop on Pricing Management of Public Goods and Services: Practice in China held in Suzhou

The training workshop on “Pricing Management of Public Goods and Services: Practices in China”, co-sponsored by SNAI and the Institute of Financial Training of the Ministry of Finance, has been recently held in Suzhou. Pham Thu Phong, editor-in-chief of Finance and Economics Press of the Ministry of finance of Vietnam and Professor Peng Runzhong of SNAI attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. A total of 16 representatives from the relevant departments of the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance such as the Price Management Department, Department of Public Expenditure, and the Office of the Minister attended the training.

First training of the Leading Accounting Talents Program of Guangxi launched at SNAI

According to the work arrangement of Leading Accounting Talents Program of Guangxi carried out by the Provincial Finance Department of Guangxi Autonomous Region, the first joint training of the Leading Accounting Talents Program of Guangxi was held at SNAI with 100 participants attending the one-week long training. Lu Wenbin, SNAI Vice President, and Wang Zhen, Director of the Accounting Management Department of the Guangxi Provincial Finance Department, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The training focused on enterprise internal control and risk prevention of businesses, financial analysis and decision support, comprehensive budget management, analysis of the latest changes and difficulties of accounting standards, Sun Tzu's art of war, and life strategy.

SNAI professor appointed as consulting expert of National Technical Committee on Accounting Informationization and Standardization

The Ministry of Finance has recently issued the "Notice on Releasing the List of Consulting Experts of the First National Technical Committee on Accounting Informationization and Standardization". Liu Meiling, SNAI Associate Professor from the Department of Business Management is appointed as a consulting expert of the National Technical Committee on Accounting Informationization and Standardization.

Welcoming party for 2019 International Students held successfully

In order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and to enhance friendship between China and foreign countries, SNAI has recently organized a welcoming party for international students, followed by a brisk walking activity for the international students and faculties. Li Kouqing, SNAI President, Yi Hongxun, SNAI Assistant President and the international students of 2018 and 2019 as well as SNAI faculty representatives from various departments participated in these events.

2019 advanced training course for the heads of the finance departments of the Departmental Affairs Management Bureaus of the CPC Central Committee held at SNAI

In order to further enhance the professional quality of the accounting talents of the central administration bureaus, the 2019 advanced training course for the heads of the finance department of the Departmental Affairs Management Bureaus of the CPC Central Committee was launched at SNAI on October 14 , attracting a total of 64 participants from more than 40 organizations directly under the central government. This training project was organized by SNAI again after an interval of 3 years, and it is also the first time after the institutional reform of the central and state institutions. Dai Hansheng, Deputy Director of the Bureau, Liu Qin, SNAI Vice President, and Liu Shangxiang, Director of the Finance Office of the Bureau, attended the opening ceremony.

The training course for heads of financial department of China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd was launched at SNAI on October 14.  Lu Wenbin, SNAI Vice President gave welcome speech at the opening ceremony. Wei Chengfu, member of the standing committee, director, and chief accountant of CTCE Group attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The opening ceremony was hosted by Xu Linfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Financial Sharing Center of CTCE Group.

The training course for financial personnel of national judicial, administrative and drug rehabilitation authorities was launched at SNAI on October 14, attracting a total of 85 participants from the national judicial administrative and drug rehabilitation authorities of 31 provinces, cities, and regions across the country. Li Dongwei, Director of the General Division of the Financial Security Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, Niu Qibin, Deputy secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Drug Rehabilitation Administration, and Cui Ying, Director of the Financial Department of Financial Security Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, attended the opening ceremony.

Delegation of National Tax Institute of State Tax Administration (STA) visits SNAI for field study

The Delegation of National Tax Institute of State Tax Administration (STA), led its Party Secretary and President Zeng Guanghui visited SNAI for field study on October 16. Li Kouqing, Party Secretary and President of SNAI and Liu Qin, SNAI Vice President， met with the delegation and the staff of SNAI relevant departments participated in the meeting.  The two sides had an in-depth discussion on issues such as training arrangements and international development.

SNAI organizes 2019 reporting meeting of new employee

SNAI organized a reporting meeting of new employee on October 15. Li Kouqing, SNAI President, Liu Qin, SNAI Vice President, Yi Hongxun, SNAI Assistant President, and heads of relevant departments and the mentors for the new employees also attended the meeting. Based on the various situation of different departments, 17 new employees focused their presentations on three key concepts, OAO integration, think tank development and empowerment with a large amount of data analysis and case demonstration.

SNAI Volunteers participate in the volunteer training for the Second China International Import Expo

In order to prepare the volunteers with more knowledge and skills of volunteer service, and to improve the quality of service, the volunteer training of Qingpu district for the second China International Import Expo has been recenlty held at the Xujing Town Cultural Center. More than 50 volunteers from SNAI volunteer team participated in this training to make full preparations for the service work of the Second China International Import Expo.

SNAI organizes 2019 China Intelligent Finance and Tax Management Summit Forum joint with the Project Launch Conference of Professional Competency Certificate

The China Intelligent Finance and Tax Management Summit Forum, co-sponsored by SNAI and Shanghai Guanhui Education Training Co., Ltd., was successfully held at SNAI on October 20. At this forum, the two major competency certificates of SNAI, namely the Finance enabled by AI (FAI) and Certificate in Tax Management (CTM) were officially released. The SNAI Education Network (www.snai-rz.com) specially for project promotion also went online simultaneously. Nearly 500 participants including university scholars, accountants, tax agents, lawyers, and corporate finance and taxation personnel from all over the country joined this event. Dozens of guest speakers discussed the hot topics such as smart financial development trends, financial market reforms, corporate tax management and fiscal and tax personnel transformation.

The sixth batch of the Leading Accounting Talents Training Program of Shandong Province kicked off at SNAI on October 21^st.  Li Kouqing, Party Secretary and President of SNAI and Zhong Zesheng, inspector of the Shandong Provincial Department of Finance, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The opening ceremony of 2019 financial training course (first batch) for credit review personnel of China Development Bank was held at SNAI on October 22, with a total of 104 participants attending. Li Jie, manager of the Education and Training Bureau of China Development Bank and relevant personnel of SNAI attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

Advanced training workshop on CFO Digital Leadership (2^nd batch ) held at SNAI

Recently, more than 20 CFOs from well-known companies such as Shentong Express, 2345 company, Henan Trading, TCL, etc. have gathered at SNAI to begin their journey of learning on digital thinking and financial digitalization. On the basis of the first batch of the workshop, the faculty team has made lots of adjustment and optimization of the teaching content, adding tax digitization and in-depth case discussions, and systematically introducing technologies such as Dazhi Cloud and its application scenarios in finance. The workshop also features the cases discussion of Zhejiang Dahua, Huawei, Siemens, GE, Yunnan Tobacco and other enterprise to summarize the experiences from both aspects of success and failure.

SNAI delegation visits Sichuan for field study of fee charging situation of partner agencies

Yi Hongxun, SNAI Assistant President and relevant personnel of the Finance and Assets Department of SNAI went to Chengdu to have an on-site investigation into the fee charging situation of the partner agencies of SNAI on October 21. The purpose of this field study is to gain a better understanding of the participants registration and fee charging situation, the job responsibilities and work processes of partner agencies, and also to verify important information such as the invoice registration form, electronic invoice template form, and remittance information inquiry form.

SNAI President Likouqing invited to give keynote speech at 49^th IAFEI World Congress

The 49th IAFEI ( International Association of Financial Executives Institutes) World Congress was held in Matera, Italy on October 25-27. The themes of this conference are cultural heritage, core values and forward-looking guidance to successful transformation of enterprises against the backdrop of business transformation and new growth model. SNAI President Li Kouqing was invited to attend the conference as a guest speaker to give a keynote speech on strengthening accounting infrastructure for BRI. Also present at the conference were the heads of the Italian government and relevant departments, CEOs and CFOs of leading companies in the industry, heads of international organizations and industry associations, etc. The participants had active discussion around the hot topics of international economy and business development. such as the eurozone economy, Brexit, Belt and Road Initiative, etc.  

SNAI joins ICAEW and NDB to organize the International Conference on Fintech & Financial Regulation

The International Conference on Fintech and Financial Supervision, co-organized by SNAI, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the New Development Bank (NDB), was held in Shanghai on October 28-29. The conference focused on the development of fintech and its impact on inclusive finance, sustainable development, combating financial crime and emerging financial regulation. The keynote speeches were delivered by Kamath, NDB President, Liu Xiangmin, President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), Li Kouqing , SNAI President  and Mark Bilington, ICAEW Regional Director of Greater China& South East Asia.  Representatives from the World Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Alibaba, Tencent, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Zhejiang University as well as other international organizations, universities, and enterprises participated in the event.

Wang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director General of the State Administration of Taxation sends a letter to SNAI

Oral History of Accounting (Part 1), edited by SNAI project team of Oral History contains the original oral texts of 10 seniors of the accounting profession born from 1918 to 1927. It was published in September 2019, followed by the donation of the books to all walks of life. Recently, Wang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director General of the State Administration of Taxation sent a letter to SNAI, expressing his support and appreciation of SNAI’s efforts in the project of oral history of accounting.

Shanghai Outstanding Accounting Talents Training Program (6^th batch) kicks off   

The opening ceremony of Shanghai Outstanding Accounting Talents Training Program (6^th batch), commissioned by the Shanghai Finance Bureau was held at SNAI on October 30. The program has gradually developed into a well-known brand of continuing education for finance and accounting personnel in Shanghai since it was launched in 2015. This batch has marked the largest number of applicants in years, and the impact and scale of the program are gradually expanding.

The opening ceremony of the management training course of Fudan Microelectronics Group (3^rd batch ) was held at SNAI on October 28. Yu Jun, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Fudan Microelectronics Group Co., Ltd. attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. SNAI organizes seminar on Managing Accounting Life

The seminar on Managing Accounting Life was organized at SNAI on October 29 with full participation of the graduate students as well as the short-term training participants. Professor Cheng Ting-wang of the National Chengchi University of Taiwan was invited as a guest speaker to talk about Managing Accountant Life, combining his personal experience to share his accounting studies as well as life experience and wisdoms through borrowing and lending perspectives. The event was hosted by Professor Lu Wenbin, SNAI Vice President.

SNAI organizes Second Panlong Finance Seminar

The Second Panlong Finance Seminar was organized on October 26, focusing on tax-related issues in equity transfers, M&A and reorganizations. Dr. Ma Junsheng, a well-known expert on finance and taxation was invited to give a presentation to explain the three core concepts, namely the latest policies and plans for the tax transfer of equity, interpretation of tax policies for the New Third Board and listed companies' stock transfers, and discussion of tax issues related to gambling agreements in mergers and acquisitions. More than 200 people from 18 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions nationwide participated in online and offline discussions and exchanges.
