Graduation ceremony for SNAI international students held           

The graduation ceremony for SNAI international students of 2019 Master of Professional Accounting Program for developing countries was held at SNAI on July 7. Chen Runyun, vice president of Academy for International Business Officials of the Ministry of Commerce, Wu Xiaoyun, deputy director general of the accounting department of the Ministry of Finance, Liu Beimin, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Zhu Xiaoyun, head of Central China, ACCA, Li Kouqing, SNAI president, Bai Xiaohong, SNAI vice president, Gao Daping, SNAI vice president as well as the heads of several departments of SNAI and faculty representatives attended the ceremony. 11 graduates on campus were present at the ceremony, while the other 18 students abroad due to the COVID-19 attended the event via Zoom, together with their relatives and SNAI alumni.

Seminar on jointly training doctoral students held at SNAI

The seminar on jointly training doctoral students between SNAI and SUFE was held at SNAI on July 6. Liu Qin, SNAI vice president and Jin Luqing, dean of accounting department of SUFE, Professor Zhu Kai, Professor He Xianjie, Zheng Deyuan, director of SNAI department of graduate education, as well as the doctoral students supervisors and doctoral students attended the seminar, discussing the topics such as the academic atmosphere, research environment and researching capacity building.

Second cohort of the Leading Talents Program of Qinhuangdao city completed successfully

The closing ceremony of the second cohort of the Leading Accounting Talents Program of Qinhuangdao city was held at SNAI on July 4. The officials of finance bureau of Qinghuangdao city and the heads of SNAI training department attended the closing ceremony, together with 33 participants of the program.

2021 training workshop for key financial personnel of China Suntian Green Energy held

The 2021 training workshop for key financial personnel of China Suntian Green Energy was held at SNAI during July 5-7. Zhang Suyin, chief accountant of China Suntian Green Energy as well as the head of SNAI training department attended the opening ceremony. Xu Zhenjiang, assistant to the director of financial management department of the company hosted the opening event.

2021Shanghai International Program for Developing Evaluation Training held at SNAI

The 2021Shanghai International Program for Development Evaluation Training, cosponsored by the Ministry of Finance, Asian Development Bank and AFDI, has been held at SNAI recently, attracting a total of 60 officials and researchers from line ministries and evaluation departments of provincial financial bureaus.

The first cohort of training workshop for leading investment management personnel of Shandong Port Group was held at SNAI on July 14, attracting a total of 50participants from the Group and its subsidiaries. Lu Wenbin, SNAI vice president and Li Fengli, general manager of Shandong Port Group attended the opening and gave remarks.

The 2021 training workshop for key personnel of fiscal departments of Shanghai was held on July 12, attracting35 key personnel working in the government fiscal departments. Shen Xiaohong, director of Shanghai finance bureau, the head of SNAI training department, Chen Xinran and Chen Fangqiu, deputy directors of general affairs administration of finance and accounting of Shanghai attended the opening.

The 2021 training workshop for senior accounting practitioners of Wuhan city was held at SNAI on July 12. Len Junhong, chief accountant of the finance bureau of Wuhan city as well as Gao Daping, SNAI vice president attended the opening ceremony. Yang Fusheng, director of the accounting department of the finance bureau of Wuhan city hosted the opening event.

The Leading Accounting Talents Program of Heilongjiang Province has been held at SNAI recently, attracting a total of 33 senior accounting talents from Heilongjiang Province. Outreach activities of National Accounting Talents Program to Qinghai Province held

The outreach activities of National Accounting Talents Program to Qinghai Province, cosponsored by SNAI, provincial finance bureau of Qinghai and the resident mission of MOF supervision and regulation bureau in Qinghai Province, was held on July 19, attracting a total of almost 200 participants from the relevant government agencies of Qinghai Province. The event focused on the theme of learning and implementing President Xi Jinping’s ideology on ecological civilization and contributing to the environment protection and sustainable development of Tibetan Plateau. Li Kouqing, SNAI president and Wang Peng, deputy director general of Qinghai provincial finance bureau gave opening remarks at the outreach event. Relevant experts were invited to give keynote speeches. 

SNAI organizes field study on Internet plus blockchain plus agency bookkeeping in Jianzha County of Qinghai Province

The outreach activities of National Leading Accounting Talents Program to Qinghai Province have promoted the new model of fiscal fund supervision, featuring Internet plus block chain plus agency bookkeeping during September 2021. In the wake of the outreach activities, the Qinghai provincial finance bureau has conducted the pilot project in the Jianzha County. The research team, led by Li Kouqing and Wang Peng went to the pilot county for field study. The research team got to know that the intelligent platform has helped to solve many long pending issues with the supervision and regulation of fiscal fund at the rural grassroots level and significantly reduced the risk of managing fiscal fund use. The outreach activities aim to help the leading accounting talents to apply what they have learnt to solve practical issues and promote the advanced management approach and experiences.

The first intensive training of the training program for CICPA members was held at SNAI on July 17. A total of 35 participants were enrolled to this cohort. Shu Huihao, secretary general of CICPA and Li Kouqing, SNAI president attended the opening and gave remarks.

The first cohort of the training workshop for leading financial management personnel of Shandong Port Group was held at SNAI on July 19, attracting total of 45 key financial personnel from the subsidiaries of the Group. In order to address the latest financial policy and the need of financial management, this training focuses on topics such as professional financial knowledge, comprehensive competencies, which could help to broaden the horizons of the participants and improve the overall capacities of the leading financial personnel of Shandong Port Group.

The opening ceremony of the training workshop for key financial personnel of China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Co., Ltd was held at SNAI on July 19, attracting a total of 50 key financial personnel from the company. The training focuses on capital market development and financial innovation, practices of risk management and control, corporate accounting standards as well as corporate financial strategy. 

Three SNAI graduates students stand out in the 2020National MPAcc Thesis Competition

Three SNAI graduate students Fang Fang, Lu Yajun, Wei Wei stood out from the 2020 National MPAcc Thesis Competition, winning Excellent Thesis Award with their respective MPAcc theses , which are The Effect of Subsequent Measurement Of Goodwill on The Accounting Information Quality, The Research on the Accounting Treatment of Encrypted Currency——Taking Digital X as An Example, The Effect of Environmental Tax Policy on Emission Reduction ——The Empirical Study on the Degree to Which the Sewerage Charges Are Imposed In China. In addition, SNAI was also awarded with the Excellent Competition Organization Award

SNAIfully mobilized and prepared for the sixth typhoon In-fa of this year

According to the weather forecast, the sixth typhoon of this year “In-fa” is expected to bring torrential downpours and gale-force winds to Shanghai. In order to prevent the potential damage to the campus, emergency plan was initiated on July 23 to mobile all logistic departments to get fully prepared for the typhoon and to ensure the safe operation of the campus.

Pandemic prevention and control meeting held at SNAI 

With the occasional outbreak of several domestic cases in Jiangsu, Yunnan, Sichuan and Liaoning Provinces, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education issued the alerts on July 26 to impose further restrictions on people entering school facilities. According to the requirement by the Ministry of Finance and Shanghai municipal government, SNAI pandemic prevention and control meeting was held on July 17 to sort out all the training activities to be held on campus and work out the pandemic control and prevention measures. 

SNAI organizes forum on technology empowering the financial integration of Yangtze River Delta

The forum on technology empowering the financial integration of Yangtze River Delta, co-sponsored by IFLYTEK, Ping An Group, Hui Fu company and Shanghai branch of the Construction Bank of China and SNAI, has been held at SNAI recently. The forum aims to discuss the opportunities and challenges posed by the financial integration of Yangtze River Delta and the relevant best practices in different sectors, explore the technological empowerment mechanism and where it can be applied to contribute to the Yangtze River Delta integration strategy. 

CPA Innovation and Development Research Center launched at SNAI

The CPA Innovation and Development Research Center has been launched recently and its first summit forum has been held successfully. Experts and scholars from local CPA associations, accounting firms and universities nationwide participated in the forum. Bai Xiaohong, SNAI vice president as well as Zhang Ke, chairman of Shine Wing Group unveiled the center together.

Vocational training held at SNAI

The vocational training of Qingpu District, as one of 100- day countdown to the 4^th CIIE activities,  was held at SNAI on July 29. This training focuses on the innovation of Internet business models, the high-quality development and the integration of Yangtze River Delta as well as the policy interpretation of service sector.
