SNAI organized 2022 Annual Democratic Life Meeting of the leadership

Zhu Guoyin from the Organization Department of the Party Committee ofShanghai Municipal Organs Work was invited to participate in annual democraticlife meeting on January 9 2022, which was conducted in strict accordance withthe procedures by the leadership team. The meeting was attended by all membersof SNAI leadership team, as well as relevant personnel from the Party Office andDiscipline Inspection Office. Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI, moderated themeeting.

SNAI organized the 2022 annual meeting of the leadership team to report ontheir duties

SNAI conducted its annual leadership team dutyreporting meeting via video link on January 9. Zhang Feng, Party secretary ofSNAI, presided over the meeting, in which all faculty and staff membersparticipated. Each member of the leadership team delivered a presentation ontheir respective performance. Zhang Feng, on behalf of the leadership team,presented the annual summary of SNAI's activities.

SNAI approved to become a supporting unit of the National Natural ScienceFoundation of China (NSFC)

The National Natural Science Foundation of Chinaissued the Notice on Approval of Registering as a supporting Unit of theNational Natural Science Foundation of China on January 3, and SNAI wasapproved as a "Supporting Unit of the National Natural Science Foundationof China". SNAI faculty will be eligible to apply for National NaturalScience Foundation of China (NSFC) projects beginning in 2023.

Letters of thanks from Ministry of Finance and Economy of Cambodia andMinistry of Finance of Laos sent to Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI

On January 4, the Economy and Finance Institute (EFI) of the Ministry ofFinance and Economy of Cambodia and the Academy of Finance and Accounting (AFA)of the Ministry of Finance of Laos each sent a letter of thanks to Zhang Feng,Party Secretary of SNAI, to express their appreciation to SNAI for thebilateral financial and economic capacity building trainings for financial andeconomic officials of Cambodia and Laos in 2022, and their hope to continue toreceive such trainings. Despite the pandemic, SNAI took the initiative toactively maintain close communication with bilateral partners such as EFICambodia and AFA Laos, and successfully cooperated in organizing five trainingsvia video link, with topics such as Fiscal Management Information System (FMIS),the development of PPP model, and the reform of China's tax system and taxadministration, etc., and trained nearly 300 Cambodian and Laotian financialand economic officials, who are now better equipped to deal with futurechallenges. The training has received high praise from the officials of bothnations.

SNAI organized 2022 Departmental assessment meeting

TheSNAI conducted the annual departmental assessment meeting for 2022 via videolink on January 3. Each department concentrates intently on summarizing theannual work, analyzing the future circumstance, and considering theorganization's long-term growth. The meeting was attended by Zhang Feng, PartySecretary of SNAI, three vice presidents of SNAI. The meeting was moderated byVice President Bai Xiaohong, and all faculty and staff were present. After themeeting, all the staff submitted the "Departmental Annual Assessment ScoreSheet" online, which evaluated the work of each department in 2022 interms of departmental performance, work quality, departmental efficiency,internal management, capacity building, etc.
