On July 3, the SNAI Party Committee hosted aconference to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the CPC's formation. Theconference was attended by all SNAI teachers and students who are Party membersand was presided over by Lu Wenbin, SNAI president. The units and individualswho got the Excellent Party Branch Award and the Excellent Communist PartyMembers Award were acknowledged and awarded at the conference. At theconference, SNAI Party Secretary Zhang Feng made a special speech titled"Promoting SNAI's High-Quality Development with High-Quality PartyBuilding."
The Intelligent Finance Forum was hosted inconjunction with the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai
The 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conferencekicked off in Shanghai on July 6, with the theme "Connecting the Worldwith Intelligence and Generating the Future," and the "IntelligentFinance Forum" was hosted at the Shanghai World Expo Center. The WorldArtificial Intelligence Conference Organizing Committee Office arranged theforum, which was co-sponsored by the Shanghai National Accounting Institute andHuifu. SNAI president Lu Wenbin, along with other government officials, expertsand scholars, and representatives of well-known enterprises and institutions,discussed cutting-edge perspectives and practical achievements in the field ofintelligent finance in the digital era, and explored the innovative developmentpath of the integration of AI technology and finance.
SNAI hosted the commencement ceremony for Master Class2023 of Accountancy Degree Program for Developing Countries
SNAI hosted the commencement ceremony for the Classof 2023 of the Master of Accounting Degree Program for Developing Countries onJuly 10. Former United Nations Industrial Development OrganizationDirector-General Li Yong, Vice President of the Academy for InternationalBusiness Officials of the Ministry of Commerce Lei Hao, Deputy Director Generalof the Accounting Department of the Ministry of Finance Gao Daping, Zhang Feng,Party Secretary of SNAI, and SNAI president Lu Wenbin were in attendance at theceremony. Furthermore, in attendance were faculty representatives and the headsfrom various SNAI departments. The graduating cohort comprises individuals fromthe following eight nations: Cambodia, Laos, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia,Botswana, Sierra Leone, and Rwanda.
A strategic cooperation agreement was signedbetween Shanghai Futures Exchange and SNAI
On July 7, SNAI and Shanghai Futures Exchangeentered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the aim of advancing thereal economy, enhancing the risk prevention mechanism, fostering the growth ofhigh-quality enterprises, bolstering research on corporate hedging, hedgeaccounting, and information disclosure, and encouraging a greater number ofentities to participate in the futures and derivatives market in a standardizedfashion. Zhang Feng, the Party Secretary of SNAI, and Tian Xiangyang, the Chairmanof the Exchange's Board of Directors, were in attendance at the signingceremony to deliver their respective speeches. The strategic cooperationagreement was signed by Zhang Gexing, vice president of SNAI, and Li Hui,deputy general manager of the Exchange, representing the two organizations.Both entities reached a mutual agreement to engage in substantial collaborationin the future regarding activities related to academic cooperation, talentdevelopment, research, the establishment of an on-site teaching base, and brandpromotion.
SNAI hosted the graduation ceremony for MasterClass 2023 of Accountancy Degree Program
On June 24, SNAI hosted the Class of 2023graduation ceremony. At the ceremonywere Zhang Feng, the Party Secretary of SNAI and President Lu Wenbin, 178graduates from the Class of 2023, and 66 graduates from the Class of 2022,accompanied by their friends and family. During his speech titled"Self-discipline, Conscience, Wisdom, and Commitment," President LuWenbin advised the graduates to emphasize lifelong study, have a caringattitude, and exhibit unwavering dedication.
SNAI hosted a Leadership Training Program forIndustrial Parks in the Asia-Pacific Region
The Leadership Training Program for IndustrialParks in the Asia-Pacific Region, co-sponsored by SNAI and the United NationsIndustrial Development Organization (UNIDO), was held at SNAI on July 10. Theseminar brought together professionals and policymakers from Asia-Pacificdeveloping nations with the goal of exchanging creative ideas, sharing bestpractices, and gaining important expertise in industrial park planning,development, and management. The seminar was attended by 29 senior andmiddle-level government officials from the appropriate departments ofindustrial parks and special economic zones from eight countries, includingBangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands,Indonesia, and Thailand. Former UNIDO Director-General Li Yong attended theopening ceremony as a special guest and delivered a speech, while SNAIPresident Lu Wenbin and UNIDO Director of the Agribusiness and InfrastructureDevelopment Division Dejene Tezera both attended and delivered speeches on behalfof the organizers.
A delegation from the Ministry of Education's Development Center for Degree and Graduate Education visited SNAI for research
On July 11, a five-person delegation led by YanweiQi, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education's Development Center forDegree and Graduate Education, paid a visit to SNAI to exchange thoughts onprofessional degree graduate training. The conversation and exchange wereattended by SNAI president Lu Wenbin, Professor Li Yingqi, Director of the CaseStudy Center, and Zheng Deyuan, Director of the Graduate Department. Themeeting was moderated by Bai Xiaohong, vice president of SNAI. Lu Wenbinpresented information on the SNAI's professional degree graduate programs, aswell as Chinese-foreign cooperation education programs and the internationalstudents program. Yanwei Qi presented the basic situation of the Ministry ofEducation's Development Center for Degree and Graduate Education and shared histhoughts on the construction of the case base, the monitoring of cultivationquality, the evaluation of degree programs, and the construction ofprofessional doctoral degree authorization points.
SNAI's Red-Seed Youth Volunteer Service Teamreceived the "Best Volunteer Service Organization" Award
On July 29, SNAI's Red Seed Youth Volunteer ServiceTeam received the "Best Volunteer Service Organization" award. TheCentral Civilization Office and the Central Publicity Department collaboratedto organize the selection. By being dedicated to volunteer work and building aunique brand of volunteerism with steadily increasing social influence andreputation, SNAI actively continues the spirit of Lei Feng in the modernperiod.

SNAI hosted the Ministry of Finance's competencyenhancement program for prominent finance and accounting talents on July 18,2023. Wan Wenxiang, Deputy Secretary General of CICPA, Zhang Feng, PartySecretary of SNAI, Chen HaoLian, Deputy Director of the Government of the HongKong Special Administrative Region's Financial Services and Treasury Bureau,and Zhao Jinguang, Director of the Department of the Liaison Office of theCentral People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, allspoke at the opening ceremony. Zhao Yan, Deputy Director of CICPA's Departmentof Continuing Education, presided over the event. A thorough and rigorousselection process was used to choose the 45 participants (including 10 HongKong students).
The 7th and 8th cohorts offinancial management training courses for top national tax officials was launched
On July 24,the seventh and eighth cohorts of financial management training courses fornational top tax officers were inaugurated at SNAI. Gao Yongqing, directorgeneral of the State Administration of Taxation's Education Center, and ZhangFeng, Party Secretary of SNAI, both spoke during the opening ceremony. Theprogram was attended by 170 people from the seventh and eighth cohorts.
China Railway 17th Bureau Group's CompetencyEnhancement Training Course for Chief Accountants and Finance Managers began
On July 17, the China Railway 17th Bureau GroupCompetency Enhancement Training Course for Chief Accountants and FinanceManagers was launched at SNAI. The opening ceremony was chaired by CuiYongcheng, deputy chief accountant and financial manager of China Railway 17thbureau Group, and attended by Bai Xiaohong, SNAI vice president, and HeJinzhou, deputy general manager and head accountant of China Railway 17thbureau. A total of 50 chief accountants and finance managers from China Railway17th bureau Group attended the five-day course.
A collaborative learning session was organized by SNAI and the Shanghai Administration Center of Policy Financing Guarantee Fundsfor SMEs
On July 21, SNAI and the Shanghai AdministrationCenter of Policy Financing Guarantee Funds for SMEs held a joint learningsession. The collaborative learning session was attended by Lu Hua, director ofthe Center, Sun Jianlong, director general of the Shanghai Municipal FinanceBureau, Chen Jiong, deputy director of the Center, and Zhang Hong. The combinedlearning session was moderated by Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI, andZhang Gexing, Vice President of SNAI.
A strategic partnership agreement was signed by ShandongGold Group and SNAI
On July 12, in Jinan City, SNAI and Shandong GoldGroup signed a strategic collaboration agreement. Both Li Hang, the directorand general manager of Shandong Gold Group, and Lu Wenbin, the president ofSNAI, made remarks during the signing ceremony. The parties agreed to fullyutilize their unique advantages, create a general synergy, and engage inextensive collaboration in the areas of academic cooperation, think tankresearch, talent training, building on-site teaching bases, and brand promotioninitiatives.
Learning activities for the youth jointly organizedby the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Bank of Communications, and theYouth League Committee of SNAI.
More than forty young people from the ShanghaiMunicipal Commission of Education, Shanghai National Accounting Institute, andthe Bank of Communications headquarters attended the learning activity for theyouth on July 14, which was jointly organized by the Youth League Committee ofSNAI, Bank of Communications, and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
Shanghai Regulatory Bureau of the Ministry ofFinance and SNAI jointly organized an internal control learning session
On July 25, the Shanghai Regulatory Bureau of theMinistry of Finance and SNAI collaborated to hold an internal control learningsession. The collaborative learning session focused on the development ofadministrative institutions' internal control systems. Dr. He Pengcheng,Secretary of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics' Commission forDiscipline Inspection, was invited to give a lecture on historical progressionof internal control, its current state, analysis, case sharing, and prospectivedevelopments. This lecture will serve as a valuable resource for the continuedpromotion of the internal control system.
