Jiang Xuewu, director of the Office of the Commissioner of the StateAdministration of Taxation in Shanghai, paid a visit to SNAI

The SNAI was visited on August 1 by Jiang Xuewu, Director of the Office ofthe Commissioner of the State Administration of Taxation in Shanghai. Themeeting was moderated by Zhang Feng, the Party Secretary of SNAI. Bai Xiaohongand Zhang Gexing, vice presidents of SNAI, along with other pertinent colleagues,were in attendance. The participants engaged in comprehensive dialogues anddiscussions pertaining to the strategic cooperation framework agreement, thedevelopment of practical training platforms, the investigation of intelligentfinance and taxation, think-tank co-construction projects, joint research onspecific subjects, and strategic consulting support.

A special SNAI meeting for veterans was organized

On August 1, SNAI convened a veterans' meeting at which SNAI PartySecretary Zhang Feng, along with two veteran SNAI personnel, Liu Daolinand Shi Wenlan were in attendance. Zhang Feng conveyed profound salutations andregard on behalf of the SNAI Party Committee to the two veterans.

SNAI launched the training program for delegates of the People's Congressof Ganzhou City

The SNAI training course for delegates of the Ganzhou City People'sCongress commenced on August 6. The opening ceremony was attended by SNAIpresident Lu Wenbin and Wu Qing, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee ofthe Ganzhou Municipal People's Congress, who also delivered speeches.Approximately one hundred delegates of the People's Congress took part in thetraining course. The six-day training course focused on budget oversight oflocal NPCs and an in-depth examination and implementation of the entirepeople's democracy process. It also encompassed a field excursion to theMemorial Hall of the Communist Party of China and the Shanghai Hongqiao Streetgrassroots contact point, with the overarching objective of enhancing NPCdelegates' capacity to carry out their responsibilities in adherence to legalregulations.

SNAI launched the third cohort of the Leading Accounting Talents in YunnanProvince (Enterprise Class) training program

The SNAI welcomed a total of 52 participants on August 1 for the thirdcohort of the Leading Accounting Talents in Yunnan Province (enterprisecategory) training course.  The opening ceremonywas attended by Zhao Jiansen, director general and chief accountant of theYunnan Provincial Department of Finance; Zhang Gexing, vice president of SNAI;and Zhao Luhua, director of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Finance'sAccounting Department. 

A special working meeting on network security was convened by SNAI

On August 3, SNAI convened a special meeting to discuss network security.In attendance were department chiefs and SNAI president Lu Wenbin, VicePresident Zhang Gexing, and others. The primary focus and ethos of the workconference organized by the Ministry of Finance regarding network security werecommunicated. SNAI’s particular arrangements and endeavors to establish a moreadvanced network security special work were detailed. Additionally, the"Management Measures for Emergency Disposal of Cybersecurity Incidents(Provisional)" and "Management Measures for Data SecurityResponsibility System (Provisional)" systems that SNAI has developed wereintroduced.

Representatives of Center for International Educational Programs attendedthe meeting on MOFCOM Academic Degree Education

On August 9, Zhao Fengtao, vice chairman of China International DevelopmentCooperation Agency (CIDCA) , moderated a meeting to listen to the suggestionsand recommendations for MOFCOM academic degree education. Du Wei, DeputyDirector General of CIDCA. Chen Runyun, Vice President of the Academy for InternationalBusiness Officials (AIBO)of the Ministry of Commerce, and the directors incharge of MOFCOM scholarship programs attended the meeting. The representativesfrom SNAI, China Scholarship Council, China Agricultural University, BeijingNormal University, University of International Business and Economics, BeijingForestry University and China Women's College introduced the current state aswell as the experience of organizing MOFCOM scholarship program.

SNAI faculty was awardedthe Ninth National Outstanding Teaching Case Award for the Master of Finance

The recipients ofthe esteemed "ST Intercontinental: Magic Talk Show Concept Stock"authored by Associate Professor Ye Xiaojie and Dr. Jialun Yang, and "WhyDid the "Small" Budget Trigger the "Big" Crash?"authored by Associate Professor Ma Changfeng, were recognized as the NinthNational Outstanding Teaching Case of Master of Finance and inducted into theChina Finance Professional Degree Case Center, respectively. In April 2023, theChina Case Center for Professional Degree in Finance initiated its ninth (2023)case collection campaign, organized by the National Steering Committee ofGraduate Education for Professional Degree in Finance. In this period, thecenter received a cumulative count of 1,116 valid cases, of which 218 weredesignated as excellent cases.

Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI, delivered the "firstlecture" to the professional master's degree candidates of 2023

The "first lecture" was delivered by Zhang Feng, Party Secretaryof SNAI, on August 19th, during the opening ceremony for the 2023 professionalmaster's degree students. The purpose of this lecture was to acquaint the newstudents with the graduate lifestyle. Secretary Zhang Feng provided acomprehensive overview of the fundamental state and historical progression ofSNAI, along with the reform and opening up in China. Through dialogues andinteractions, he instructed the students on how to accurately discern thecorrelation between their individual progress and that of SNAI and the nationat large. At the postgraduate level, it is desired that students will cultivatea strong work ethic, practicality, moral rectitude, and inventiveness, whilealso gaining practical knowledge and establishing a more solid groundwork forthe advancement and progress of society, the individual, and the nation atlarge.

The opening ceremony for the graduated students of Grade 2023 was hosted by SNAI

The SNAI hosted the opening ceremony for the graduated students of Grade 2023on August 19. In attendance were representatives of SNAI faculty, Zhang Feng,the Party secretary of SNAI, Lu Wenbin, the president of SNAI, AssociateProfessor Ye Xiaojie, the dean of the Department of Finance, 123 full-timegraduate students, and 48 part-time graduate students admitted in 2023. In hisaddress at the ceremony, President Lu Wenbin extended a cordial welcome to the171 incoming students and expressed his desire that they embrace the idealsembodied in the school motto—becoming individuals who are intellectuallyinquisitive, truth-oriented, and spiritually enriched.

The 2024 EMPAcc programs commenced

SNAI hosted a series of opening activities for the 2024 EMPAcc studentsfrom August 17th to August 21st. Attendees included the president of SNAI,Professor Wu Donghui, Director of the EMPAcc Program at The Chinese Universityof Hong Kong; department of cooperative programs colleagues; and new studentshailing from various regions of the nation. In addition to orientations and theSNAI First Lecture, the opening activities included team building andice-breaking.

ChinaCommunications Construction Company (CCCC) Finance Elite Training program was launched

Seventyparticipants attended the CCCC Finance Elite Training Program's official launchat SNAI on August 22. Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI, and Jiang Feng,Executive General Manager of Finance and Capital Department of CCCC Group, bothdelivered speeches at the opening ceremony. CCCC Finance and Capital DepartmentDeputy General Manager Li Binjie presided over the opening ceremony.

The inaugural cohort of Hunan Province's Accounting and Financial TalentsTraining workshop commenced at SNAI

On August 18, Hunan Province's inaugural cohort of the Accounting andFinancial Talents Training workshop commenced at SNAI. The opening ceremony wasattended by SLiu Ping, chief accountant of the Hunan Provincial Department ofFinance, Lu Wenbin, president of SNAI, Shi Tao, director general of the HunanProvincial Local Financial Supervisory Authority, Wan Fang, deputy director ofthe personnel office of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee OrganizationDepartment, and Li Yong, director of the Personnel Department of the ChangshaCentral Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China.

The workshop of Huashan Hospital on Digital Operation of IntelligentHospital was conducted at SNAI 

SNAI hosted the workshop of Huashan hospital on Digital Operation of IntelligentHospital from August 24 to August 26 Zhang Gexing, vice president of SNAI, andZhou Haiping, chief accountant of Fudan University Affiliated Huashan Hospital,both delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. The workshop attracted acohort of one hundred individuals representing over fifty healthcareinstitutions, including the People’s Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang AutonomousRegion, the Affiliated Hospital of Cardiovascular Disease of Xiamen University,the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University, the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospitalof Zhengzhou University, and the Zhengzhou Children’s Hospital of HenanProvincial Children’s Hospital.

SNAI renewed the contract for collaborative collaboration with JinyunVillage and Guanglian Village of Xujing Town

SNAI entered into a renewed round of cooperative development agreementswith Jinyun Village and Guanglian Village of Xujing Town on August 28 (from2023 to 2027). The agreement was signed on behalf of their respectiveorganizations by Bao Xiaowen, vice president of the SNAI, Zhang Weiguo,secretary of the general party branch of Jinyun Village of Xujing Town, andZhao Shuang, secretary of the general party branch of Guanglian Village ofXujing Town.

SNAI obtained multiple awards in the Ministry of Finance's 2022 ExcellentPaper and Research Report Competition

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) recently announced the winners of the"Excellent Paper and Research Report Award" for fiscal year 2022.This competition recognized a total of 13 SNAI articles. Among them, fourarticles won second place, three articles won third place, and four articlesgot the excellence prize; one article won third place, and one article won theexcellence prize for the best research report.

Faculty of the SNAI was awarded funding for projects from the NationalNatural Science Foundation of China in 2023

The Notice on the Evaluation Results of the 2023 National Natural ScienceFoundation of China Centralized Acceptance of Application Projects waspublished by the National Natural Science Foundation of China on August 24.SNAI was granted project funding for one of the projects supported by theNational Natural Science Foundation of China. The Youth Science Foundationgranted project funding to the formation logic and empirical examination of the"digital transformation paradox" proposal, which was made public byZhong shihu, a member of the SNAI faculty.

A thesis of Master of Professional Finance in SNAI was accepted into ChinaCenter for Theses on Professional Degree in Financethrough the 8th Theses Collection Activity

The NationalSteering Committee of Graduate Education for Professional Degree in Financeannounced on August 21 that the thesis titled "Research on the ValueAssessment of Innovative Pharmaceutical Enterprises Based on Option Modifiedr-NPV Model--Taking Biotest as an Example" , authored by Gao Jin, afull-time graduate student supervised by Professor Li Yingqi, was accepted intothe thesis pool of the China Center for Theses on Professional Degree inFinance, which was established and is managed by the National SteeringCommittee of Graduate Education for Finance Degree. It is the largest and mostreputable theses center for finance degrees in China. The theses housed ithinthe Center are nationally renowned for their exceptional quality.
