A framework agreement of strategic cooperation was signed between Wenzhou Municipal People's Government and SNAI for construction of a private economy-focusedtraining facility in Wenzhou

A delegation from SNAI, headed by SNAI Party Secretary Zhang Feng, recentlyparticipated in the 2023 Wenzhou Private Entrepreneurs' Festival. While there,they engaged in field research in Wenzhou and reached a framework agreementwith the Wenzhou Municipal People's Government for strategic cooperation. Thetwo parties will collaborate in the construction of a private economy trainingfacility in Wenzhou, with the fundamental components of collaboration beingresearch and teaching and advancing the entrepreneurial and innovative spiritof private entrepreneurs to the fullest extent. The field study group wasaccompanied by Chen Xuanan, director of the Wenzhou municipal finance bureau,and Zhang Gexing, vice president of SNAI.

 

A strategic cooperation framework agreement was signed between the Office of the Commissioner of the State Administration of Taxation in Shanghai and SNAI

The strategic cooperation framework agreement between SNAI and the Officeof the Commissioner of the State Administration of Taxation was effectivelysigned on November 3. The strategic cooperation framework agreement was signedby Jiang Xuewu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Commissioner of the Officeof the Commissioner of the State Administration of Taxation in Shanghai, andZhang Feng, SNAI Party Secretary. A comprehensive, multi-level, and ongoingpragmatic collaboration will be established between the two parties, with anemphasis on party building, the exchange of fiscal and taxation think tanks,the development of top-tier talent, and the research of a cooperative frameworkthat can support the sustainable growth of the regional economy. The signingceremony was attended by He Dejun, a member of the Party Committee and deputycommissioner of the Office, Zhang Gexing, vice president of SNAI, and otherpertinent personnel from both parties.

 

The inaugural Forum on Intelligent, Digital and Network Transformation of Accounting Firms was held in Suzhou

On November 3, the inaugural Forum on Intelligent, Digital, and NetworkTransformation of Accounting Firms was held in Suzhou, with the topic "Integratingthe Blueprint of Digital China and Creating an Intelligent IndustryEcology". The forum, hosted by SNAI, was organized by the SuzhouAssociation of Certified Public Accountants and the Party Committee of SuzhouIndustrial Park Accounting, Auditing, and Appraisal Service Innovation Cluster,with support from the Suzhou Finance Bureau. Zhang Feng, SNAI Party Secretary, Shi Jiahong, Vice Mayor of SuzhouMunicipal People's Government, and Tang Jianhua, Deputy Secretary General ofthe China Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), gave openingremarks respectively. The event was attended by host and organizer leaders,industry experts, scholars, and key business executives, all of whom activelycontributed to the realization of the CPA industry's digital revolution.

 

SNAI "Red Seed" Youth Volunteer Team provides service to the Expo.

The 6th China International Import Expo was held atShanghai's National Convention and Exhibition Center from November 5 to 10.During that time, the SNAI "Red Seed" Youth Volunteer Team, whichincluded graduate students and young faculty, provided services such as trafficguidance, information inquiries, on-site order maintenance, emergency aid, andlanguage interpretation. Two young teachers functioned as liaison officers fordomestic guests, giving excellent service with care, attention, and patience.In addition, SNAI supplied lodging and catering services for over 40 Expopersonnel and volunteers.

 

The activities of the 5th Alumni Day was held at SNAI

The Fifth Alumni Day of SNAI tookplace on November 18. Alumni Day attracted an unprecedented number ofattendees, exceeding 1,000 alumni and their family members.  In support of the SNAI and its alumni, thisyear's Alumni Day featured a theme forum, a creative bazaar, a playcommemorating the EMBA program's 20th anniversary, campus athleticscompetitions, a lawn concert, an Integrity Hall tour, and an Alumni Day Party, among other events. SNAI Party Secretary, president and all vice presidentsattended the event.

 

The 16th joint training of National Leading Accounting Talents Training Project was held at SNAI

The 16thJoint Training of National High-end Accounting Talents Training Project washeld at SNAI. 22 cohorts comprising of nearly 1,000 trainees from the National LeadingAccounting Talents Training Project and the Quality Enhancement Project of LeadingAccounting Talents of the Ministry of Finance participated in the 16thjoint training at SNAI from November 27 to December 1.

The training withthe focus on the capacity building of accounting talents, invited experts,scholars and government officials to give lectures on new technologies andpolicy such as urban development, data economy, sustainable development,aviation industry, quantum technology, accounting supervision, etc.  Zhu Zhongming, vice minister, attended the graduationevent via video link and delivered a speech.

 

The 11th Annual Management Accounting Forum was held at SNAI

On November 26,SNAI hosted the 11th Annual Management Accounting Forum of Shanghai NationalAccounting Institute (SNAI), which was co-organized by YGSOFT INC. and BeijingYuanian Technology. There were approximately 17,000 participants both offlineand online at the forum. Keynote addresses at the fourm were delivered byWenjuan Fu, Technology Partner, PWC; Fan Shukui, Member of the NationalCommittee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC);Chairman of China United Assets Appraisal Group Co; and Bai Xiaohong, vicepresident, SNAI. In attendance at the forum, SNAI president Lu Wenbin deliveredthe opening remarks.

 

SNAI International students won the second prize in the final of CESIM International Business Simulation Competition

Recentlythe2023 CESIMInternational Business Simulation Competition and Peak time final was heldat the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE). The event was hostedby Shanghai Education Association for International Exchange (SEAIE), andco-organized by School of International Cultural Exchange of SUFE, and theorganizing committee of CESIM International Business Simulation Competition, attractinga total of 223 students from 17 colleges and universities in 56 countries. Twoteams formed by international students of SNAI won the second prize in thefinal competition respectively, and Prof. Cao Shengrong, the instructor of theteams, was honored as the excellent instructor.
