To speed up the cultivation of senior accounting talents, improve the talent structure of the accounting profession, the Ministry of Finance launched the National Leading Accounting Talents Program (LATP) in 2005. The Program is designed to build China's leading accounting talents who not only have international vision and strategic thinking but also are proficient in professional work, good at management and familiar with international practice. As of 2013, SNAI has enrolled 8 cohorts in the corporate setting and 1 cohort in public administration, with 441 trainees in total. The first cohort of LATP trainees in the corporate setting graduated in 2010.

Driven by the mission to establish SNAI as the world's leading accounting institute and in accordance with the development strategy of the accounting profession, SNAI offers a large number of executive development programs targeting national macro-economic departments, large and medium-sized SOEs, financial institutions and intermediaries, and has built a good reputation on these programs.
