On December 7th, the opening ceremony of the 4th Wuxi Leading Accounting Talents Training Program and the 1st Lianyungang Leading Accounting Talents Training Program were held at SNAI. Sixty-five financial managers from enterprises and public institutions in Wuxi and Lianyungang participated in the training.

The 1st Financial Directors Capacity-Building Training Program for Shandong Heavy Industry Group was Hosted by SNAI
On December 8th, the 1st Financial Directors Capacity-Building Training Program for Shandong Heavy Industry Group commenced at SNAI. More than 50 financial directors from Shandong Heavy Industry Group participated in the training. Shen Chuandong, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., and Qin Yuexing, Vice President of SNAI, attended the opening ceremony and delivered addresses.
Enrollment Expansion was Approved for SNAI-ASU Joint MIM (Data Analytics Track) Program
Recently, the Ministry of Education approved major changes to Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions and programs submitted by several universities. The enrollment expansion application for the MiM (Data Analytics Track) Program, jointly offered by SNAI and Arizona State University (ASU), has been officially approved. The annual enrollment quota has been increased from 30 to 100 students.
Tianshan Forum on Central Asian Economic Cooperation was Attended by SNAI Leaders
From December 2nd to 3rd, the Tianshan Forum on Central Asian Economic Cooperation, hosted by the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Institute (CAREC Institute), was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. As a supporting organization, Zhang Feng, Secretary of the Party Committee of SNAI, and Zhang Gexing, Vice President of SNAI, attended the forum. Thirty-two international students from SNAI's Master of Professional Accounting Program for Developing Countries participated in the forum, as well as the 9th CAREC Think Tank Development Forum and CAREC Leadership Training organized by the CAREC Institute.
The 8th Annual Intelligent Finance Forum Held at SNAI
On December 6th, the 8th Annual Intelligent Finance Forum was held at SNAI. Centered on the theme "China's AI+Finance Initiative," the forum explored the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and financial management, covering best practices in intelligent finance, ecological co-construction, and frontier discussions. The forum featured keynote speeches, thematic debates, signing ceremonies with new cooperative institutions, and the launch of the Intelligent Finance Knowledge-Sharing Platform.
2025 ACCA-SNAI Annual Forum was Held in Shanghai
On December 12th, the annual forum co-hosted by SNAI and ACCA took place in Shanghai. Under the theme "Reshaping Finance, Steering Global Development with Intelligence," the event explored financial transformation and innovative pathways for Chinese enterprises in the process of globalization. The forum featured multiple keynote speeches and panel discussions. Approximately 350 SNAI alumni and international students attended the symposium.
Shanghai Commissioner's Office of the General Administration of Customs visited SNAI for Research and Exchange
On December 11th, Du Xiangpei, Director and Party Secretary of the Shanghai Commissioner's Office of the General Administration of Customs, and Luo Jianghong, Deputy Director, Member of the Party Committee, and Secretary of the Working Committee of Government Organs, led a delegation to visit SNAI for research and exchange on Party-building and disciplinary supervision. Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI, and Qin Yuexing, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of SNAI, met with the delegation. Relevant officials from the General Office and the Working Committee of Government Organs of the Shanghai Commissioner's Office, as well as officials from the Party Affairs Office (College Office) of SNAI, attended the event.
Sovereign Risk Management Training Program for Infrastructure Investors was Held at SNAI
Recently, the Sovereign Risk Management Training Program for Infrastructure Investors, co-organized by the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF), the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the World Bank Group (WBG), and SNAI (Asia-Pacific Institute of Finance and Development), opened at SNAI. This marks the first joint initiative between SNAI and MCDF in the field of international financial capacity building. Nearly 40 participants from institutions including the Department of Debt Management of the Ministry of Finance, China Development Bank, and the Export-Import Bank of China attended the training. Wang Zhongjing, Founding CEO of MCDF; Erik Berglof, Chief Economist of AIIB; Manuela Francisco, Director of the Economic Policy and Development Prosperity Global Practice of the WBG; and Lu Wenbin, President of SNAI, attended the opening ceremony.
China-Cambodia Seminar on Public Investment Management: China's Experience was Held in Phnom Penh
Recently, the China-Cambodia Seminar on Public Investment Management: China's Experience, co-hosted by SNAI and the Economic and Financial Institute (EFI) of Cambodia's Ministry of Economy and Finance, was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. More than 30 officials from over ten Cambodian ministries, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Ministry of Health, attended the seminar.
Pich Sambath, Undersecretary of State of Cambodia's Ministry of Economy and Finance, and Tian Bei, Director of the International Education Center of SNAI, attended the opening ceremony and delivered addresses. During the event, the Chinese delegation held bilateral meetings with Cambodia's Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Economic and Financial Institute, respectively. Both sides discussed capacity-building cooperation in key areas such as fiscal and taxation system reform, public investment management, and green finance.
Guangxi "Top-1000" Leading Accounting Talents Exchange Seminar on AI + Sustainable Development was Held in Nanning
On December 21st, the Guangxi "Top-1000" Leading Accounting Talents Exchange Seminar, themed "Artificial Intelligence + Sustainable Development," was hosted by SNAI in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Participants from government, industry, academia, and research institutions interpreted cutting-edge policies, shared innovative practices, and conducted in-depth discussions on how accounting talents can seize new opportunities, adopt new tools, and address new challenges, thereby providing intellectual and talent support for the high-quality economic and social development of Guangxi.

Inter-institutional Cooperation was Discussed by SNAI with Erasmus University Rotterdam
On December 16th, Bai Xiaohong, Vice President of SNAI, together with colleagues from the Teaching & Research Department, Research Management Department, and Graduate Department, held an online working consultation with Professor Wenjiao Cao of the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Control, Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Both sides focused on exchanges regarding overseas academic visits for SNAI faculty, postgraduate exchange programs, and research cooperation intentions, reaching initial consensus and clarifying pathways to advance substantive cooperation in the next step.
Class-I Research Achievement was Awarded to SNAI Research Paper by Shanghai Institute of Ideological and Political Work
On December 23rd, the 2nd Senior Political Worker Forum, hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Institute of Ideological and Political Work, was held at the Shanghai China Financial Information Center. Commendations were presented to entities and individuals winning Outstanding Research Achievements in Ideological and Political Work and Grass-roots Innovation Cases in Ideological and Political Work.
The research paper "A Study on Practical Paths to Promote the Construction of Comprehensive Ideological and Political Courses: Taking Institutional Precedence, Benchmarking Standards, and Integrated Development of Comprehensive Ideological and Political Courses in National Accounting Institutes," led by Bai Xiaohong, Vice President of SNAI, and co-authored by Liu Meiling and Li Xinning, was honored as a Class-I Research Achievement of the Shanghai Institute of Ideological and Political Work for 2023-2024.
Eight SNAI Scholars were Named in 2025 National Highly-Cited Scholars List
Recently, the Chinese Center for Scientific Documentation and Evaluation under CNKI released the 2025 National Highly-Cited Scholars List, based on an objective evaluation of scholars' academic influence using domestic journal and conference papers indexed in its database. Four scholars from SNAI were selected for the National Top 1% Highly-Cited Scholars list, and eight for the National Top 5% Highly-Cited Scholars list. Their research areas cover disciplines including accounting and applied economics.
2025 Internal Control Committee Working Meeting was Held by SNAI
On December 22nd, SNAI convened its 2025 Internal Control Committee Working Meeting. The meeting reviewed the achievements of the college's internal control work in 2025 and systematically outlined key tasks for the next stage. Zhang Feng, Party Secretary and Director of the Internal Control Committee of SNAI, attended the meeting and delivered a concluding speech. Members of the SNAI leadership team, committee members of the Internal Control Committee, and internal control officers from all departments attended the meeting, which was presided over by Qin Yuexing, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of SNAI.
