SNAI Convened Mobilization Meeting for APEC Finance and Central Bank Deputies' Meeting Preparation

SNAI recently held a mobilization and arrangement meeting for the APEC Finance and Central Bank Deputies' Meeting preparation. Zhang Gexing, Vice President of SNAI, reported on the preparation progress. Relevant departments and special working groups discussed specific matters. Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI, delivered a concluding mobilization speech. Leadership members, department heads and key staff attended the meeting.

SNAI Hosted 2026 APEC Finance and Central Bank Deputies' Meeting

The 2026 APEC Finance and Central Bank Deputies' Meeting was held at SNAI from February 4th to 5th. It marks the first financial meeting since China took over the 2026 APEC host role. Liao Min, Vice Minister of Finance, chaired the meeting on behalf of China. A total of 114 delegates from 19 APEC economies and 11 international organizations attended, including five overseas deputy minister-level officials. Aside from official sessions, 11 bilateral talks, enterprise visits and cultural experience activities were also arranged.

Shanghai Audit Authority Training Program on Audit Quality Improvement was Launched at SNAI

On March 4th, the training program kicked off at SNAI. Nearly 120 core audit practitioners from Shanghai participated. Li Wen, Deputy Director-General and Chief Auditor of Shanghai Audit Bureau, and Zhang Gexing, Vice President of SNAI, attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Training Program for Financial and Audit Cadres of Bailian Group was launched at SNAI

On March 2nd, the training program commenced at SNAI. Thirty-three participants including heads of financial and audit departments at the group headquarters and subsidiary companies, as well as financial directors of tertiary-level enterprises attended the session. Xiao Min, Chief Financial Officer of Bailian Group, and Zhang Gexing, Vice President of SNAI, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

SNAI has Secured Six 2026 Joint Research Projects of the Ministry of Finance and Provincial Authorities

The Ministry of Finance recently issued a circular on advancing high-quality joint research projects co-developed by the ministry and provincial authorities for 2026, specifying project arrangements and relevant requirements. SNAI has secured approval for 6 research projects, including 4 commissioned projects and 2 competitive projects. The research covers business domains of five departments, namely the Accounting Department, Tax Policy Department, Social Security Department, Finance Department and Economic Construction Department.

SNAI is Council Member of National Audit Doctoral Degree Education Alliance

On March 14th, the founding meeting of the National Audit Doctoral Degree Education Alliance and the 1st Forum on High-quality Development of Audit Doctoral Education were held at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, under the guidance of the National Advisory Committee for Professional Audit Degree Education. Initiated by seven pioneering universities authorized to confer doctoral degrees in auditing, the alliance ushers in a new era of coordinated development for cultivating high-level practical auditing talents. Bai Xiaohong, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SNAI, attended the event as a founding member and delivered a keynote speech.

SNAI Holded 2026 Annual Work Conference

On March 5th, SNAI convened its 2026 annual work conference to arrange key tasks for the year and convey the spirit of the national fiscal system meeting. Lu Wenbin, SNAI President, reported the institute’s 2025 financial status and gave feedback on suggestions collected from the 2025 democratic meeting. Heads of all departments reported work plans and measures to be taken to meet the annual goals and KPIs. The meeting was attended by SNAI leadership as well as all faculty and staff.

ICBC Shanghai Branch Delegation Visited SNAI for Exchange

On March 6th, Ding Yujie, Deputy President of ICBC Shanghai Demonstration Zone Sub-branch, led senior managers from the Institutional Business Department of Shanghai Branch to conduct exchanges. The visit aimed to deepen bank-institute cooperation, leverage mutual resources and explore new collaborative development models. Bai Xiaohong, Vice President of SNAI, together with staff from Teaching & Research Department, Graduate Department and Finance & Assets Department, attended the exchange.

ACFIC Hold Training Program on Modern Enterprise System with Chinese Characteristics for Key Private Enterprises at SNAI

From March 23rd to 26th, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce hosted the training program at SNAI. A policy briefing on modern governance of private enterprises and mobilization for customized enterprise research services were held. Shen Ying, Executive Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a mobilization speech. Relevant officials from multiple authorities attended and addressed the event.

The 7th Jiangsu Provincial Leading Accounting Talents Training Program Opened at SNAI

The opening ceremony was held on March 17, attended by participants of the 6th, 7th accounting talent programs and the 2nd administrative training program. Zhang Jiangyi, Second-level Inspector of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance, and Lu Wenbin, President of SNAI, delivered speeches at the ceremony.

The 1st Training Program for Chief Accountants Under 2026 MOF High-level Financial Talent Improvement Project was Launched at SNAI

The training kicked off on March 24th. Total 119 chief accountants and financial department heads from central, provincial and municipal state-owned enterprises, listed companies and key private enterprises across Shanghai, Heilongjiang Province, Hainan Province and Qingdao city attended the training.

The 1st Special Training Course and On-the-job Training Program on Hospital High-quality Operation Management System Construction of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital was held at SNAI

From March 25th to 27th, SNAI hosted the case-based training series on Public Hospital Financial Management and High-quality Development. The event included the first special training on building a high-quality operation management system and innovative practices featuring Shanghai-style characteristics for Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital.

Mid and senior managers from hospitals nationwide took part in the training. Cen Jue, Vice President of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, Zhang Gexing, Vice President of SNAI, and Xia Peiyong, Chief Accountant of the Shanghai Sixth People’s hospital appointed by Shanghai Hospital Development Center, attended the opening ceremony.

SNAI hold Meeting for Postgraduate Industrial Supervisors

On March 20th, SNAI held the meeting for postgraduate industrial supervisors. More than 50 external practical supervisors, industrial doctoral tutors and staff from relevant departments attended the meeting via online and offline channels. Participants exchanged views on professional postgraduate training models and advanced industry-education integration. Appointment certificates were granted to 24 newly appointed practical supervisors. Zhang Feng, Party Secretary, and Bai Xiaohong, Vice President of SNAI, attended and addressed the meeting.

SNAI launched Healthcare Administration and Policy Research Institute and holds seminar

On March 28th, the launching ceremony and seminar of Healthcare Administration and Policy Research Institute (HAPRI) was hosted by SNAI. Centering on Health Policy and Management Innovation: From Institution to Practice, the event gathered leading experts, scholars and industrial administrators to discuss medical reform advancement, high-quality development of public hospitals and medical resource allocation.

The official launch ceremony was held at the meeting. Formerly known as the Hospital Operation Management Research Center founded in 2019, HAPRI serves as an open academic platform. It was renamed in October 2025 to adapt to industrial trends, meet practical demands, and better support fiscal priorities and medical reform initiatives.

SNAI Hold 2025 Partnership Review Meeting with Independent Evaluation Department of NDB

On March 20th, SNAI held the annual partnership review meeting with the Independent Evaluation Department of the New Development Bank. Both sides reviewed achievements in capacity building, knowledge sharing and academic exchanges since signing the Memorandum of Understanding in July 2024 and conducted in-depth discussions on future cooperation priorities. Lu Wenbin, President, Zhang Gexing, Vice President of SNAI, and Ashwani Muthoo, Director-General of the Independent Evaluation Department attended the meeting.

SNAI Signed Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore Chartered Accountants Institute

On March 30th, a five-member delegation led by Seah Seng Leong, President, and Koh Wan Fong, CEO of Singapore Chartered Accountants Institute visited SNAI and held exchanges. President Lu Wenbin and President Seah Seng Leong signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of both parties.
