On May 8, the First Elite Partner Leadership Enhancement Program for Shanghai Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Industry, jointly launched by the Shanghai Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI), kicked off at SNAI. More than 100 participants including all trainees, mentor representatives and outstanding talent representatives took part in the event. Gu Hongxiang, President of Shanghai Institute of CPAs, and Lu Wenbin, President of SNAI, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. A total of 27 outstanding partners were selected from Shanghai CPA industry for the training, which spans a 3 year cycle.

On May 15, the National Steering Committee for Postgraduate Education ofAccounting Professional Degrees announced the selection results for the 2025Excellent Professional Master’s Degree Thesis Award for MPAcc. Twenty‑four theses received the award. SNAI’s master thesis Research Report on the Five‑Year Implementation Effect of the Filing System under the newly‑revised Securities Law — Taking Accounting Firms Engaged in Securities‑Related Services as the Research Subject was among the award‑winning works.

SNAI Held Mobilization and Deployment Meeting for National Civilized Unit Creation

In 2025, upon recommendation and nomination by the Working Committee of Shanghai Municipal Government Organs and review by Shanghai Civilization Office, SNAI was shortlisted as a nominee for National Civilized Unit, launching the three‑year assessment cycle from 2025 to 2027. On May 12, SNAI convened the mobilization and deployment meeting for National Civilized Unit creation. On May 18, the 2026 Joint Training for Leading CPAs under the Ministry of Finance opened in Jinggangshan. More than 170 trainees from 4th, 5th, 6th cohorts of the MOF Leading Accounting Talent Capacity Improvement Program and the training program forwestern region organized by the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) attended the opening ceremony.
