Senegal Training Workshop on Public‑Finance Management, Audit and Supervision was Held at SNAI

On July 6th, the Senegal Training Workshop on Public‑Finance Management, Audit and Supervision, undertaken by Shanghai National AccountingInstitute (SNAI), kicked off on campus. As SNAI’s first bilateral foreign‑aidtraining program, the 21‑day workshop adopted a combined teaching model featuring thematic seminars and multi‑site field visits. The Prosecutor‑General of the Court of Auditors of Senegal and Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The ceremony waspresided over by Bai Xiaohong, Vice President of SNAI.

2026 Industrial Park Leadership Training Program was Held at SNAI

From June 29th to July 4th, the 2026 Industrial Park Leadership Training Program was hosted jointly by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Shanghai National Accounting Institute(Asia‑Pacific Finance and Development Institute, AFDI). Total 27 senior and medium level government officials and industrial park stakeholders from 12 Asia‑Pacific developing countries were invited, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Viet Nam. Li Yong, former Director‑General of UNIDO and former Vice Minister of Finance, Yi Xiaozhun, former Deputy General Director of the World Trade Organization and former Vice Minister of Commerce, Dima Al‑Khatib,Director of the UN Office for South‑South Cooperation, Zhang Feng, Party Secretary of SNAI, and Yao Shenhong, General Director of the UNIDO Departmentof Strategic Planning and South‑South Cooperation, attended the openingceremony.

Leading Talent Training Workshop of Jiangsu Government Procurement Association was Held at SNAI

From July 7th to 10th, High‑Talent Training Workshop of Jiangsu Government Procurement Association 2026 was launched at SNAI. More than 90 principal persons‑in‑charge from agency associations across prefecture‑level cities in Jiangsu Province participated. Song Yiwu, President of Jiangsu Government Procurement Association, and Qin Yuexing, Vice President of SNAI, attended the opening ceremony and delivered addresses.

2026 Compliance Management Training for Leading Talentsin SME Operation and Management was Held at SNAI

From July 6th to 10th, the Compliance Management Training 2026 for Leading Talents in SME Operation and Management was held at SNAI. Over 90 outstanding entrepreneur representatives nationwide joined this program. Advanced Seminar on ESG and Corporate Sustainable Development was Held at SNAI

As a global capacity‑building partner of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), SNAI hosted the Advanced Seminar on ESG and Corporate Sustainable Development from June 29th to July 2nd. Fully funded by the Advanced Seminar Project under the Knowledge‑Updating Program for Professional and Technical Personnel of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the seminar attracted participants from accounting firms, listed companies, financial institutions and third‑party service providers.

SNAI International Students were Invited to Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office Event Marking the 70th Anniversary of China‑Africa Relations

On July 3rd, upon invitation by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, 8 Namibian international students from SNAI took part inactivities of the Training Workshop for Namibian Media and Think‑Tank Representatives 2026 hosted by the Office. The students attended a special lecture themed “The 70th Anniversary of China‑Africa Diplomatic Relations: From Hard Connectivity to Heart‑to‑Heart Connectivity”. They also paid study visits to Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and a humanoid‑robot incubator. Through in‑depth exchanges, the students gained deeper insight into the historical roots and practical significance of China‑Africa friendship and further strengthened their sense of responsibility and mission to advance people‑to‑people bonds between China and Africa.

Financial Management Training for Central Budget‑Funded Institutions Based in Fujian was Held at SNAI

On July 28th, the Financial Management Training for Central Budget‑Funded Institutions Based in Fujian was launched at SNAI. More than 160 key financial staff from relevant central budget‑funded institutions in Fujian participated. On July 24th, the 1st cohort of the 2026 Training for the Finance and Accounting Division of Bank of Shanghai commenced at SNAI. Nearly 100 participants from the headquarters and branches of Bank of Shanghai attended. On July 29th, the opening ceremony was held for the second cohort of the Program for Outstanding Financial Talents of China Railway Shanghai Group Corporation. Fifty financial talents from the Group participated in the training. 2026 WAIC Intelligent Finance Forum Convened in Shanghai

From July 17th to 20th, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) and High‑Level Meeting on Global AI Governance were held in Shanghai. The 2026 WAIC Intelligent Finance Forum was convened at the Shanghai World Expo Center. With the theme “Global Vision: Breaking New Ground for the New Paradigm of Intelligent Finance,” the forum was co‑hosted by SNAI and Huifu Payment Limited, with CPA Australia, CIMA and ACCA as supporting organizations. Covering seven core dimensions including policy interpretation, academic research, audit transformation, technological innovation, corporate practical cases, global compliance and talent development, the forum pooled resources from top global accounting and finance institutions, national‑level academic platforms, leading enterprises and premier tech service providers, building an efficient platform for industry exchange and outcome sharing. More than 1,000 on‑site audience members attended, and over 40,000 viewers tuned in via live‑stream channels including Xinhua News Agency, Finance & Accounting and SNAI official platforms.

On July 29th, the 2026 ACCA‑SNAI Annual Seminar, jointly hosted by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI), was held in Shanghai. Centered on the theme “Reshaping Finance, Forging Ahead with Intelligence,” the seminar gathered hundreds of guests from government bodies, academic institutions, enterprises and professional‑service sectors. Participants discussed cutting‑edge topics including AI‑driven finance‑function transformation, global talent strategy, green finance and data value mining, offering forward‑looking insights for the future of the accounting and finance industry.
